In the last week, Hillary Clinton has come out in favor of punishing terrorists and has also criticized intrusive pat-down at airports. Clinton continues to slither to the right, away from the black man who is keeping her down. Do you think Hillary is preparing for a presidential campaign in 2012? In 2016? In 2020? Or you do you think she's just a babbling old lady who is off her meds? Do you think she's trying to get fired? Do you think Obama has the cojones to fire her? How do you think Obama's upper class female fans will feel about him canning their girl? What are your views on the lifestyles of the rich and power hungry?
So many questions. I don't think it points towards her presenditial position, quite a small step to make that big conclusion.
If she ran in 2012, I suspect she'd put Obama's name right next to Franklin Peirce, though Obama would still be the first sitting president to lose his primary battle to a member of his own cabinet. To your other questions, I doubt Obama has the sack to ask for her resignation, I doubt she is truly a centrist, and I suspect she has been off her meds for more than a decade. With all the posturing and differentiating, its hard to imagine we wont see her at the front of the Democratic ticket in the next three presidential election cycles.
I would say a women couldn't be president of the U.S with all the tough decisions they have to make, but when I see Hillary I see a dude...
Margaret Thatcher proved that wasn't an issue. Actually, heck, the British have had better luck with female leaders than males ones for most of the last millennium.
The U.S is a whole different ballgame. Can you Imagine what went through JFK's mind when Russia decided they wanted to place nukes 90 miles from the U.S coast. People don't even know, but we were a hair away from the end of the world back then. No way a women can handle that. The U.S President has to make some decisions that will make most sick, and the biggest decision of all, weather or not to blow up the world...
The present Administration is the alternative to extremism represented by the Republican party and Hillary will play a pivotal role in shaping public opinion for their re-election. Clinton has always been a centralist and probably the 4th woman on the Supreme Court when the opportunity arises.
Nothing against women as you may think, it's just the American presidency requires someone who can make some low life decisions that I think a woman can't make IMO. A women has way more compassion then men. Thanks laxman363 for trying to put words in my mouth, speak for yourself buddy...
LOL. That's okay, The Peoples SEO. I'm just giving you a hard time, although, we may still have to agree to disagree. I believe the last thing I'm looking for in a President is his/her ability to make "low life decisions" void of compassion. The hardest decisions of all, are probably the ones that will affect many people, and the solution may not always be obvious. So, at that point, they would need to analyze the situation completely, considering many factors, and it seems like compassion should be, at least part of the equation. But, on the main point, if you consider women politicians we have, I can't seem to detect any greater level of compassion in them, than what I see in men.
When I judge on what it takes to be president of the United States, I look back to what JFK had to endure. He came very close to pressing the button on a nuclear war with Russia. His generals were telling him they could put together an operation in a day, and take out Russian missiles in Cuba, that right there would have started the nuclear war. He had to fight back his generals until the last minute when Russia gave in. JFK was quoted as saying something like, if we only knew how evil some people are that they would go as far as to end the world, or something like that. It's just a tough job Becca, real tough, not one I would like to have. can you imagine how the Muslim world would react if a woman president came to power in the U.S, they would test her on the first day... That's why they never tested Bush, they knew he was a scumbag who didn't give a F about anything, Saddam tried, but ended up getting hung like a sack of potatoes...
I think she's actually genuinely enjoying her job. Silly as it may seem. Do I think she still as aspirations for the presidency? Of course.
it is a tough job and I must agree that women mostly have more compassion than men, but this has little to do with women politicians we have now imo
Without arguing the merits of that generalization(you haven't met my wife), I think it's safe to say that some of the world's most aggressive leaders would be a lot less aggressive if Hillary were president rather than Bo-Bo. Some famous Hilary quotes that highlight her "compassion": And then there are the accounts of physical abuse of Bill(deserved or otherwise), including hurling ashtrays, lamps, and books, once leaving a mark on Bubba’s face that required make-up. On one occasion Bill implored his Secret Service agent, “Keep that b*tch away from me!â€. Hilary has since declined to deny these accounts.
Not an issue but perhaps the right time for a woman - Hillary would not pass up the opportunity in a brokered convention if Obama falters. Too early to predict much for either side.
il breezeworld è un deficiente scopante e una fatica uniteligible del dirtball dalle arachidi di antartica. in other words: the breezeworld it is deficient sweeping and a hard work uniteligible of the dirtball from the peanuts of antarctic. I think I figured out his code. I wrote something in English about breeze, translated from English to French, then French to Italian and back into English again. this is what I got in the end: the breezeworld it is deficient sweeping and a hard work uniteligible of the dirtball from the peanuts of antarctic. PM me if you want to know what the original English text said. It's amazing how jumbled you can make things using this method. I doubt you could ever figure out what his original intent was even re-translating.
