    Respected Members,

What is your take on the climate change deal situation?

I admire this guy for taking matters in to his one hands and wasting no time. Just wanted to find out general opinion.

    What do you guys think?

Copenhagen, Denmark - Delegates at the U.N. Climate Change Conference are "running short on time" to reach agreement on a deal, U.S. President Barrack Obama told them.

"There is no time to waste," he said. "Now I believe it's the time for the nations and the people of the world to come behind a common purpose. We are ready to get this done today, but there has to be movement on all sides."

Yes it must be taken as a serious issue and try to decrease the global warming, strict rules have to be implemented on industries for controlled and reduced emission of harmful or carbon full gases and harmful water and toxic wastes. And it must be checked on all vehicles for emission check, and every individual should plant a tree and water it daily. Plants only can bring down carbon in air and bring down the global warming and thus results in reverting back to normal climate changes.

It's a serious issue and it needs attention from all of us. Global average temperature is rising rapidly and if it increases at the current then you can see cities like Newyork,Mumbai,Sydney under water in 2050..

I think it's real, and man-made, but the politics behind it is getting a little crazy.

...There aren't really many negatives behind the proposed changes though. Those hybrids are getting like 60mpg.... in the US that's like twice the average for a car... pretty amazing. Our energy saving light bulbs saved us almost $100 a month off our electric bill. I'm saving money by doing these small things to help the planet.

Even if the worlds not going to catch fire or the ice caps aren't going to melt... This movement has helped me to see just how big of an impact we're having, and that we produce too much trash, and that we use too much gasoline.

The politics between the developed and developing nation is not helping the matter. I was hopeful of a good outcome before the summit began but looking at the present debate, I doubt if this round is going to be any successful! :(
