    Post summary (The Problem):
    1. I have a new client who had a nefarious web/dev firm put up an incomplete site for him and never finish it but did get it into Google Local Business listings.

    2. By incomplete I mean half of the navigation links don't work. None of the header and footer images display and the "Contact Us" form does not work. This is only a 4 page site. There is no excuse for them not completing the site in 30 days as agreed in their contract. There was nothing complicated about the site and the business owner supplied all the text and image content the nefarious web/dev asked for.

    3. During the site build the nefarious web/dev went to the client's office and had him sign up for a Google Account to list his business in the Google local business center.

    4. When the client received his first month's maintenance bill without the site being finished, he called them and canceled his account.

This client knows NOTHING about the Internet and is a very trusting soul. He paid cash for the site up front. Unfortunately he has been deceived.

The rep from the nefarious web/dev firm changed his Google account password, and will not tell the client what the new password is now that he has canceled the maintenance account. The site has never been completed.

I have been through the "Can't access your account?" Google feature with the client but he could not get through the process so he would have his login info sent to him or allow him to change his password.

I have posted in the Google "Local Business Center" group forum and posted almost this exact same post as here a week ago and no replies. I can't find anything in their help files.

    My Question:
Do you know of a way I can help my client get around this debacle and gain access to his Google account again?

    Thanks,
