Why does some clients don't pay after making the job they gave. After putting their links live, they won''t reply to you and let you wait for several days.

I just want to know what advises can I get from you guys.

    Thanks,

Well, if you are working with your client for long time then you should wait for some time or if the client is new and won't reply back for long time then leave itrade rating and post a negative feedback on his/her thread..

    I have same issue man...
People owe me ~500 bucks for a long term job and I still haven't been paid. (I've been working since November so I decided to wait for few months so I could stack some money, but I guess that was a bad idea).
Lesson number one: Ask for your payment weekly, that way you can avoid these unpleasant situations.

That's why when selling services, I take at the very LEAST 50% up front, most of the time 100$ up front :)

This is why you always work on contract and you always take a fee up front, like an above poster said. Although you won't take small jobs to court, threats always work.

I am in a reverse situation where i have been ripped off by someone i asked to do some work for me. Does anyone know who we can contact on here to get this addressed, because i don't think its right that unscrupulous people should be thriving and trading openly on here without sanction. At the end of the day we want things to be done right and fairly. So if anyone knows what can be done about this please post or PM me I have been trying to resolve this for weeks now and the various people i have contacted that I thought were admins haven't replied. Doesn't anyone care?
