Hi This is a first for me, but I have a client who wants to design their own logo and then pass it over to me to use when designing their site, the reason behind them wanting to design it themselves is they want to potentially take logo design up in the future to generate a bit of income (not sites, just logos), so they stated they see this as a good starting point. They asked me to recommend a program to get them started, but for me when it comes to logos it's PS or Illustrator, neither of which I would class for beginners, as I'm sure you'll agree If anyone has any suggestions for a easy to use program that will allow them to create a decent looking logo, I'd be grateful, I don't want to end up having a really tacky logo to work with. Try GIMP...it's open source so there isn't a large investment made if they decide they can't cut it...
