Client-transfer-prohibited

I have a client who is moving their website to our servers. they changed the DNS servers of the domain to point to our servers. It shows it is pointing to our servers, but the whois shows it pointing to the old servers and the status says Client-transfer-prohibited.

So the mail works, but the website doesn't come up on our servers. Have checked and double checked the code. I don't believe it is a code issue.

Anybody have any ideas about what is going on?

Sounds like the domain is locked at the registar.

When did you do this change? It can take up to 48 hours to propagate

Alot of registrars allow their customers to lock their domains. So in order to transfer the domain; you have to login to the control panel for the domain; unlock it and then transfer it.
