    - its a good thing that they were able to hear your side and that it was fixed anyway, and one good thing about it, they were corrected and immediately notified and at least it was fixed...

its not right that the very quick basis of your decision lies on threads alone... try researching more...

If i recieved pornographical ads on my site, when I had specificly set down the rules that none should be shown, I would drop the offending company ASAP.

"Small" mistakes like that, could seriously dent traffic / user confidence in your site.

    Hi everyone,

It is really unfortunate for those who have suffered setbacks due to these unwanted adult ads. As a member of the clicksor network I know that the reason for these unwanted ads is entirely the doing of some unethical advertisers. They submit appropriate ads during our hours of operations because they know that our auditing team would never allow such ads on unwanted sites, and once it after hours comes they then begin to display adult content ads on our publisher's sites. We work very hard everyday to prevent this from happening, but these advertisers just finds new ways to get around them. It is a big cat and mouse game.

The absolute best thing to do when you encounter this problem is immediately contact one of our representatives and they will remove the ads from your site as soon as possible. The only way to get rid of this problem is if we work together.

I wish everyone the best, and we greatly appreciate your co-operation. :)

That is simply NO excuse sorry
You see if you really do "care" about the quality of the adverts you are allowing to be published on other peoples sites you would set up a delay system that would hold the ads pending approval. I do not think your doing this because of lazyness.

Sorry to offend but we have all been offended already and the OP may have lost substantial money, respect and repeat visits due to the poor maintainance of your network.

Good point. Sadly I think with the smaller companies the market is so tough to crack that they get greedy and start taking risks that they should not.

I agree. If it was a recurring problem then the obvious fix is what JasMate stated above.

If Clicksor is so sloppy that they won't implement better quality control then how in the world would I ever trust them with proper handling of my account?

I came to this forum (Pay Per Click Advertising) today specifically to read threads about Clicksor because I was considering using them. I am so glad I saw this thread, as all of my sites are "PG-rated."

I'm sorry I disagree w/ the laziness post above, and my theory is based on the whole myspace thing that just happened, mistakes do happen, I've been using clicksor for awhile and really haven't had any problems w/ them and to my knowledge they haven't shown any NSFW ads on my SFW sites.. Look at myspace for example last month, they had that ad that got through on their site that infected thousands and thousands of users, not because of laziness I suspect but just accidental..

Alot of you may disagree w/ me but dealing in business, you do have to sometimes take into effect human error does happen, no matter what, even with a delay system in place which would be a great thing would that of prevented that from happening on this site this time? or was it just overlooked and a mistake, I feel for the webmaster and hope he did not suffer any problems from this but i think some of you are making statements that are unjust and unmerited

Again you may disagree just stating my personal opinion after reading through this thread..

Sorry but I do disagree with you. Yes human error does happen point taken BUT why allow a system where you rely on your advertisers to submit ads without even checking them:confused:

If I was running such a network and got even one complaint that a porn ad had slipped through I would immediately rectify the problem by either manually checking the ads or putting into place some automated system that did the job for me, admittedly the latter would most likely be impossible nevertheless this type of thing MUST NOT CONTINUE!!

To say "it was an accident, sorry we'll try not to let it happen again" is just rediculous. If it was indeed an accident and will not happen again why does it happen so often? You say that you have never seen these type ads on your sites but do you monitor them 24/7? You see this stuff happens all the time I have had enough of it.

100% correct. Clicksor is no good. I just cancelled them as well for their so called "reporting errors". My advice to anyone thinking of using them... stay away.

Yeah but potentially hundreds or thousands of kids and parents saw the discusting filth also and deleted their bookmark to that site perminently!!
In my personal opinon a few or even heaps of clicks is not worth a drop in visitors even if that drop is minimal. Word travels fast and if your a family friendly site the word about adult content will go quickely from family to family - parents don't like their kids seeing this stuff! (for good reason).
