Very rarely do I have to deal with real incompetence on the internet, but it seems every time I do business with these people I get screwed somehow. The first time I signed up with them was to implement their XML PPC feed with my toolbar, which went fine at first. Their XML feed is tucked away in the members area, which wasn't too hard to find. So I take the feed and program away, plugging the feed into the toolbar took a few days if I remember correctly. Then came the testing, every single time I'd click on the results I'd get redirected to their search engine. Eventually I got tired of trying to find the problem and emailed them. 5-10 emails later I get a response asking me to send the toolbar. I do so, and then I never hear a peep out of them again. How considerate, it seems as soon as they encounter a problem they start ignoring people. A few months pass and I sign up with their popup company. They weren't my first choice, but they seem to be the only company that doesn't mind serving popups through advertising programs. Now the only reason I even considered going back to them was simply for the fact they pay for RAW impressions, or in other words you're paid for every impression. With this in mind I started testing their system and noticed that a lot of their ads were only counted once by the system. Most of the problem ads were myspace profiles that were advertising through paypopup. So anyways, I emailed their support, wondering why I wasn't getting paid for the ads. I get a response back pretty quick telling me that my account has been suspended, their reason 'We don't allow myspace profiles to serve popups' - WTF?? Are they so rushed over there that they only pick out a few words from every email and then decide whether or not to ban the publisher? It's pretty clear they don't have the aptitude to solve problems, but why not give me some clarity and explain why the system isn't working? At least then I'd have something to work with. But no, I guess that isn't how they operate. Anyways, I had to blow off some steam. If you read this far, thank you. If you take anything away from this thread, let it be that trying to get help from these people is about as effective as spitting in the wind. In my experience at least, maybe other people here have had better luck.
Have you tried calling them as most of the times I find that a phone call will clear things up much better than emails.
