clicks VS earnings

So, how is it possible that adsense reports that I've had 42 impressions, 7 clicks and only .01 revenue?

Does anyone know the revenue split?

Seems nuts to not at least get .01 for each click. That tells me that Google is taking a high percentage.

    Thanks!

Change them to CPA ads and you'll make much more.

Maybe some of them are invalid click or fraud click. As per google finance report, the publisher revenue is about 73% now

google detected it as fraud's click so no earnings is added to your adsense..

What do they consider to be fraud? Sounds objective to me. I understand the clicks from my own IP could be considered as fraud, but what else????

WELL i dont think that google is taking high percentage but its for sure that all your click is invalid...and your account can be in risk if it continues like this...

Google do show you your income based on their fixed algorithm of income but will summarize your account before paying you..
so if they found any invalid click.. they will simply ban your account...

So just be careful and try to get real visitors and clicks..

That is bad and usualy means that you have had invalid clicks. It is impossible to know whether these are fraudulent it could also be that the person clicking made too many in one go and Google have just flagged it as suspicious. Trust me if it was fraudulent you'd have been banned already.

It actually depend on the type of ads that your/site blog is getting. If the keywords used in your post are low paying then the revenue generated will be quite less.

Regarding the revenue split no one knows other than google but i heard that google pays commission in the range of 50-75%.

Some of my sites get around $1 per click! So,it entirely depends upon the area of your blog.

You will get a better idea with the value of some high paying keywords given below-

    Mesothelioma: $52.81

    hard drive recovery: $13.43
    buy contacts: $12.64

this high paying are now saturated in the market of adsense.
much beter if you would just work on your SEO and concentrate on
promoting your website to see more earnings.
he got 42 impressions, 7 clicks and only .01 revenue
so if he gets more customer like 42 * 100 = 4200 impresion
a 4200 impresion will earn $1.00 so you must get
    420000 impresion to get $100.00 a day :D
    anyway its just a calculation
you could also work on your ads placement and see whats works well
on the website and which placement gets more click..
prmote, promote, promote is the key..

Most probably your site is showing Public Service Ads which do not pay.

42 impressions and 7 clicks, that's close to 18% CTR, becareful its quite high:eek:

I think it is because the term "Web Hosting" _with_ a colon after it is worth more. Either that or this is just another one of those ridiculous lists.
