Your best bet will be to develop more traffic from US & Canada then rather then writing up that Indian clicks suck.
Of course, I think. In USA and Canada, ppl spend a lot of money for advertising so you get higher prices.
I have found that even though the click values are lot lower for Indian users, Indians are relatively new to the Internet and tend to click ads much more frequently. My eCPM for both US and Indian users is nearly the same. Users from US and many other developed markets are now ad-blind.
Yes it is correct that the value of clicks from India is less. The main reason is that they click ads just by mistake without any interest. When the ad appears they close it and thus ads are paid less as it is of no use to the advertiser.
That way the OP's earning will decrease. Even if its less, he is earning. Blocking India won't mean that the traffic from India would be converted to US.
The problem is not with Indian Visitors alone. There are some Indian Advertisements which pays above 1$. I am a witness ( consistent). There is no High Paying Keyword in your Meta Description and Keys. It is more or less a Serious Forum. People come for Learning, They learn and walk away. So even with thousands of visitors, your earning will be rarely significant! This is also misconception. Indian visitors click on ads and close them as if something is going to come and eat them. So Invalid clicks are also more. However Banner Ads are more attractive to Indian visitors. You can try that out.
sorry but i have to say this, india is not a premium country .. so, the value of the click is very very low ..
I agree with Sachin410. You will find that your CTR will be higher with Indian traffic. Plus it is a developing market - if you already have your foot in the door with good Indian traffic, you will reap the rewards in years to come. It is not an overnight business. You should have targeted your site and content more at the US and Canada if you primarily wanted that traffic. The appropriate domain extension (.com or .ca and so on), linking to blogs or websites targeting that region and utilizing the words United States, America and Canada more frequently in your content are the ways to direct your site towards traffic from those areas.
its because google receives most no of invalid clicks through india,,so they pat less for click through india
Keep going with India. If you blog Indian ips then whatever pennies you are earning, you will lose them
You should have known all the Indians would have something to say about this. But the fact that US traffic is the most valuable is nothing new.
Do you know why you get less from India? Because many people who want buy something online are getting some restrictions. They can't use Paypal to buy without using Credit card. It's not easy to get a Credit Card here at India at all place. If they use credit card then they have to waste many fees.
Work on USA and Canada traffic, i have also same kind of problem. therefore, my monthly earning very low.
