Clicks from ads I don't even run anymore

I've submitted this question to CJ support but, after a week, still no answer.

Is it common to recieve clicks from ads you don't even run any more? I get 4 to 5 a week from ads I've long since removed.

I've resorted to expiring these ads now to avoid this but I shouldn't have to.

    Is this common?

    Thanks

I think its possible may be because some you are getting clicks from the indexed old pages where you had the ads.

People may also be clicking ads that are cached on various search engines.

Thanks for all the ideas. I hope CJ can find the source.

It's from the search engines, search and click "view cache". I still get 3 to 4 impressions (not clicks) a day on things I have not promoted in over a year, the banners are still out there!

Peoples browsers can also be the culprit...you can set it to keep a cache of a webpage for as long as you'd like i believe..
