I seen another thread about getting a click with no money but today is just odd. 350 impressions from submitting it to digg.com and i have 1 click. earned no money and can't even check the channels to see which channel it came off of. is this unusual or can this happen? been a member since october 05 and never seen this.
I don't know what kind of sites you guys are running, but yesterday was one of my best days this month. Since a couple weeks after I started my site, around once a week I'll have a terrible day... like a cycle... weird.
ok i beat that today lol. but oddly enough my channels aren't showing up since i've earned money today. usually once i make a penny or more it pops the channel button up. aboutitworld.com stats i got 24 and $11.28 . I was lucky enough to get my site on to digg.com still half the clicks a little over double the money heh. I think they were on loans or student loans edit now its up to 77 and 25.24
I had this same problem for the 10th of March. Did something go wrong on that date, possibly? My clicks were not CPM, and it seems unlikely they would be suspicious clicks, because no one I know knows about my site.
It could be that Google just hasn't updated the account yet, but I doubt that it is cache, as I've received clicks that counted since then... That also should rule out the account not being updated yet, since one would expect Google to update the pages in chronological order.
well made out today with 94.04 so far from getting my site on digg. the ads seem well placed on the pages. the top banner was removed on some pages but not all yet. but what would bring such a low ctr on my pages? for over 25k impressions i made 94.04. still if only i could get this much traffic everyday. and the 1 click i didn't get paid for yesterday never counted i don't understand that. aboutitworld.com
May be it was a Hurricane Click, dont worry it happens and you should have an experiance of everything.
It's a bit disconcerting that once traffic increases above a few clicks, there will be no way to tell how many of the clicks counted, and no way to tell why some clicks didn't count. I don't have too much of a problem with Google detecting click-fraud and making those clicks worth nothing, but I'd like to know exactly why a particular click didn't count. My site is currently low-traffic, and I know that no one I know did it (no one knows about my site), so the only explanation is that they detected someone clicking my ads who had been doing mass-clicking. I would find it strange that my site attracted such a person, but accept that as the explanation if Google could give a little bit of info on why clicks didn't count. That said, the options seem to be putting up with it, or going elsewhere, so I guess I'll put up with it. Not exactly happy about it, though. Just out of curiousity, does anyone know what Yahoo/MSN do to combat click-fraud? Do they pay $0.00 for some clicks, as Google does? Do they provide information about why the nullified clicks didn't count?
