Clicks and Payments

    Hello,

    I was getting a very low CTR on my directory and was not making very much per month.

    I changed my ad's positions etc and my CTR has now doubled but the payment per click have dramatically dropped to about 25% of what they were before? The type of ad's are the same.

    I have always used the competitive ad filter with a list generated from a ad's black list but at my current rate I will end the month with twice as many clicks as before but with only quarter of the money!

    Is this Normal?

    yah this is normal, rates r vary, u cant judge what rate they gave

    Are you using Adsense? This could be Smart Pricing in action if so.

    Yes, I am using Adsense.

    I have never heard of Smart Pricing? But I've just googled it.

    Will the payments improve with time?

    If not I will be removing adsense from my site.

    It is normal. It is the part of the adsense program.
