    I still send them an email every time I make an accidental click, and save a copy. Just so if I ever get banned for invalid clicks, I can sure due diligence

    Not that simple Bruce. Google's algorithm is much more sophisticated than that. I observe and guess Google bans an account based on some probabilities calculated from clicks combining dozens of maybe hundreds of factors that may affect them. If an account owner has a probability of more than 60%, for example, to have cheated Google, Google will go ahead and ban it without a doubt.

    Google has access to practically the best geo ip database, the top technology to smell you out behind any proxy and stores billions of surfers online preferences so that it knows to what degree a click is possible. Sometimes even if a click by you is counted in your earnings, Google still reserves the possibility of your cheat in his database.

    I have accidently clicked on an ad while using frontpage when editing a page. It's easy to do. I was sweating bullets, I'm glad they released this email.
