Clicking my ads again

Went to my forum and up pops the private message box in a hurry I double clicked instead of single click the OK button but the last click was a yahoo ad:mad:

That makes 3 accidental clicks for me in a years time. Should I call and explain to them or just forget it. I'd hate to put a spot light on my account.

I've clicked my own ads a few times, I don't think it is that big of a deal. 3 times in a year is nothing.

don't worry about it, if they ask, explain that it was an accident and tell them the story, just don't do it everyday....they are much more forgiving than google.

Well, yeah, but it does not mean you should be doing it.

Anyway, I think you should try your best not to accidently click on your ads for the next 12 years.

They actually ask? I hear they actually have real people you can speak to on the phone too. They could teach AdSense a thing or two about publisher communication. In all sincerity a couple of careless clicks isn't exactly a huge click fraud operation - I'm sure it'll be fine.

They do have people who talk to you on the phone. In there earlier part of their "beta" i was able to get someone who contacted me in regards to a survey as well - ad brite does the same thing.

I think they just don't want you clicking on your ads intentionally to build up revenue. 3 clicks is nothing.

    yeah adblock works well.
I remember a couple of years ago clicking on an adsense ad when working on my site. Your heart drops and you immediately scramble to contact them lol

If you are legit there is no reason to "keep your account out of the spotlight". Personally I would email and explain the issue.

Oh I'm legit, I follow the rules but the way they've been banning for low conversions I don't even want to go there. How do they expect good conversions with untargeted ads???

I accidentally click my ads some times, I haven't for a long time when I come to think of it. Only back when I first got adsense. It's no big deal man.

They have pretty good sensors, you should be fine. If you clicked it 10 times I might worry, but 3 in a year is fine.
