Sounds like a Tonya Harding tactic. Why spend the time actually becoming better at what you do, promoting yourself, or otherwise improving your business when you can try to screw over other people who work harder than you? That's just stupid. It's really a waste of time on his part, considering how many competitors are out there and how little he is going to do to them as a whole. Why is he wasting his time in such an unethical act?
It seems good for some time. But ultimately your employees and your friends will be thinking about your character and ultimately cause a " Good Will" loss. Just my opinion Prawin
I wonder what functionality google has implemented in order to rekognize fraudulent clicking ? Does anyone know about this ?
There are a few methods really. one of them might be referrers, past click history, keyword types, Ip's Mac codes etc. One thing is for certain, they will not allow anyone to know about it
You don't need a friend like that. Clicking on ads deliberately and wasting advertisers' money is wrong and not to mention Google may send one his competitors the dreaded banned email.
Not at all.. . This dude is into web-development sites. I havn't quite figured out what I'm into Too many DNs to choose from to develop, I suppose I should just choose one and get started, for the 4th time. Anyway I probably won't be advertising with any PPC companies, only paid insertion listings for me, that way if someone does go click crazy it won't matter 'cause I'll be paying the same either way
So he is proactively involved in clickfraud ... there could be legal implications for him if competitors and PPC host work together to eliminate clickfraud. If he is doing that, it also means he wishes for his adverts to be abused as well - considering he thinks that it is an acceptable practice.
Here is a good one folks, I actually walked into a competitor and heard them telling their staffers to click on the ads affiliated with my campaigns to drop me off the page. I then witnessed them doing this... when I mentioned who I was, the shite hit the fan...
I haven't read this in a while but... YuTube No.. not a good idea at all.. If you don't get caught by Google Karma will eventually get you..
It can't be to many years from the formation of a Google Consumer Organization that protects anyone doing business with google in anyway their interest from every form of fraude
Well, the new Google cost per action will certainly be a way to protect the advertiser. I have to wonder if Google's eventual goal is to totally phase out CPC advertising because cost per action campaigns would seem to be much easier to control on the surface. Although, I think publishers may make less money, but it's hard to tell. Especially if the publisher can make something like 30 dollars from the completed action. Might all even out at the end if the only thing left is cost per action.
