ClickBooth - Should I close my account?

Lately I've been seeing all these negative threads about ClickBooth not paying affiliates and giving excuses or just not responding and ignoring the affiliates when questioned about not receiving payments. I heard they also posted some sensitive data belonging to an affiliate on a webmaster board after they deleted his account and refused to send him payment on the excuse that the income made was from fraudulent charges.

It's not just one or two cases but a large number of affiliates that have complained.

It seems ClickBooth owes alot of affiliate marketers money and they aren't paying them, instead making excuses to not pay them or just locking their account and ignoring them.

If they do these shady tactics with affiliates what stops them from going all the way and actually shaving affiliate sales.

what are your experiences with Clickbooth? I just signed up with them but am thinking of asking them to close my account because I don't want to be associated with an affiliate network that treats their affiliates like this. what do you think?

While I am not an affiliate of them, I've been reading up on it the last few days, and indeed publishing an article on it. And what I would say is to change. When it comes to issues like this, there's simply too many legitimate companies and affiliate programs where you WONT get ripped off to risk it.
As affiliates, we can frequently have a high overhead, and it just can't be on the chopping block as a loss.
