Clickbank is the best place where you can find digital products to promote.

Pros - the system is easy to use.
    the commission is high
    you can promote any product
you get cheques every 2 weeks (depends)

Cons - well, there are no cons

    Cheers

    Pro's are the commissions

cons is that people don't keep working at it and fail.

I have fell into not keeping strong, now I do something everyday to try to make those sales.

pros = all of the above
cons = the returns that are allowed on clickbank products

Clickbank has a 60 days refund policy... But if you promote a good quality product you shouldn't worry about refunds anyways...

There will always be people that BUY - then refund the next day although they keep the product - but the % of these people is very very small...

I did it to BestBuy twice. I bought a GPS and brought it back 3 days later (when I was back home from my trip:D )...

Pros - tons of affiliates use it so if you are selling a product you can get great advertisers and professional big time gurus selling your product.

Lots of products to choose from with full statistics

Cons - payment by cheque, refunds made too easy

The only cons I can see is the need to learn a lot, work hard, and spend some money (quite significant at times) before you start making money.

Has there been issues when you do not get paid, and they give you some ridiculous reason? This happened to me from CJ on a $12k comission check that they owed me. It took them 3 months to pay me that, even though every site I was affiliated with contacted their QA person and asked for me to get paid.

I was very excited in having a commission of that size, and i was my first one EVER. So, that little episode put a very bad taste in my mouth on affiliate marketing. My wife and I were almost completely busted because of that. It cost quite a lot of money (that we didn't really have) to earn that $12k, and to be, basically, bullied by CJ really set me off.

But, I am back in the saddle again, convinced that this works. Just want a good product(s) from a reputable person, and make some money so my wife and I can stay home with our soon to be 2 year old son, and be the family that we always wanted to be.

We work too dang much and never see each other. My son grows so fast, it's almost noticable day by day.

Just REALLY want to work a gem, and I must say, that the majority of the people here at DP are fantastic and share quite a bit. But not everyone.

Thanks all from this thread. You have created a little ease in me to move forward.

Now, if I could just find the right thing to promote, and the right avenue to market in, I'D BE TOPS!!

You have some good reasons to want to become successful at this game. Just don't ever give up and you will be fine as long as you continue to learn.

Seems like it is coming easy to me this time - but I've tried tons of crap in the past that never really panned out. Persistence is the key, that and picking quality products to promote.

I've generated a reasonable income from selling clickbank products.

It is not easy and hard work and choosing good products to promote, is the way to go.

**I like your story - heartfelt. Too bad CJ gave you a tough time however as long as you're not caught doing any blackhat at CB you will never have a problem like that I can assure you.

I look after a popular product line (sig), feel free to have a peek you might like what you see and I offer support to my aff's personally.

Wishing you and your family well, and welcome back to the game.
