I saw this offer as well. Sales letter looks pretty convincing...got some reputable guys w/ plenty of testimonials. I might go it a try. Would love to read a review before I drop the cash though. Who knows...if I'm still bored tonight, might buy it anyways. $77 is cheap for a training course that could potentially return $XX,XXX+++++
It is an online university. The training is through the video and pdf files. The sales letter looks pretty interesting. Did anybody joined in CB University? It seems they are charging 77 USD on a subscription basis. Moreover they are planning to increase it to $97. Again a gimmick. If anybody signed up, please share your views here so that we ...all could be benefited.
I found it entertaining for Clickbank itself to be doing...well, the Clickbank schtick. It was like visiting a parallel universe. I like it, but it looks like they water it down with other stuff that--while interesting--doesn't touch on the hard-edged money-making stuff that most of us want to know about. While I find the DJK guy interesting, I'm not so interested in Camtasia design. I could learn that elsewhere.
It sounds interesting Wish it was available months ago when i didn't hafta dig through forums & articles to obtain my knowledge
The thing that I don't understand is why doesn't ClickBank just offer something like this for free. Obviously, the more sales affiliates have, the more ClickBank makes. Are they getting greedy? 7.5% plus $1 is not enough per transaction? Or maybe only offer extra training or something to people that have hit the 100 or 500 sales mark because these people will have longevity within ClickBank. I'm not wasting any money (especially monthly) on some training material.
well said, first sentence especially. I try me best to attract my affiliates and teach them everything i can to make us both money. Let me charge you to make money for me - in fact; pay me to work for me... smart $ move and i'm sure people will buy into it, as a newbie I might have...
Because this sort of junk never makes you more money to begin with. Only dreamers who want an easy way in buy this sort of crap. Clickbank has stooped to an all new low...
Hi everybody, I'm Andy Bourland, President of ClickBank University. Just thought I'd poke my head in the door and say "hi" and answer any questions anybody may have here. If you are interested in getting the whole story behind ClickBank University, you can check out our sales letter at http://www.clickbankuniversity.com Of if you would like to see a preview of the video training we'll be making available to our members, you can get links to about 5 previews over the next 4 days by opting in at http://www.clickbankuniversity.com/blog/clickbank-university/ We're trying to offer business building content that isn't a rehash of all the same things that are covered by the ebooks you're probably all aware of now. That's why we're offering training on marketing via teleseminars and webinars, writing and designing highly effective autoresponders, creating digital infoproducts and marketing videos with Camtasia, writing powerful sales letters, etc. We're paying close attention to our members to learn whatever we can about particular needs and interests. If any of you has any feedback for us, we're all ears. Just email me at andrew@clickbankuniversity.com. I read and respond to all email personally. And just to clarify, this is a joint venture between my company, Walker Rhodes LLC and ClickBank. We've been working together since last spring to put this whole thing together, and offered it because of the tremendous amount of feedback ClickBank received urging them to begin offering training and support. I will be checking back regularly and addressing whatever issues you might have. Thanks! Andy Bourland President ClickBank University
CBU, are you the same person who brought us Affiliate Marketing X, Day Job Killer, and Project Black Mask. If not, is that person involved in CBU?
Mage, No, but I believe he's involved in the project as one of the "instructors" or whatever they are called.
I'm sorry, but your credibility has gone down the drain. Those eBooks contained nothing new, nothing you couldn't get from browsing good blogs and forums, yet they were packaged and sold for extortionate prices. If you want to help your Clickbank vendors and affiliates, give them the information for free. If its any good, Clickbank will benefit and reap the rewards: get the increased revenue through better performing Clickbank users, not by scamming them $77 a month for another crappy ebook and video package.
I agree $77 / $99 is a lot of money per month for an ecourse... however if it does contain valuable information not found else where it is worth it. Sure you could browse the forums and blogs all day however most people don't have all day to do that...they need a structured program to get them started.
Lol, i think i cover just as much if not more in my $47 one time course in my sigg... But hey, this affiliate game is a monster sometimes, good luck w/$77 a month, can't believe you guys are getting away with milking new chows/cows like this, at the same time I wish I thought of it
So... I guess there is no way to use our affiliate link to receive a discount? ClickBank should use a point system. Points could be awarded for affiliates and vendors who make sales or refer sales. Then those points could be redeemed for: no check fees, advertising positions, or "special training." I feel like ClickBank has it all wrong. You should be awarded for your accomplishments not how deep your pockets are.
What good are autoresponders for affiliate pages? If I want to market someone's product, and they have a killer sales page with an autoresponder and newsletter, how does that benefit me? Once my prospect fills out their info, the product author now has that person to market to. Am I missing something here? - Joe
