traffic depends on following things 1. how much percentage you are willing to pay 2. do you advertise your affiliate program listed on click back (via adwords/directories or anything)
Sales also depend on how good your product is, how much of a market there is for your product, how good the affiliates are (they are usually pretty good), what price you're at - basically, sales rely on all the things they rely on if it were you doing the selling.
