Clickbank + Social Networks

Majority of us write reviews for Clickbank's products, and offer some bonuses to make customers buy the products through our links, not somewhere else.

Ok, after you got some reviews up on your website, you need to get some backlinks.

Social Networks are great for them, so here I would like to ask, what do you do after you have written a review for a product.

For example, I stumble and digg it, then submit it to Ezine and Squidoo.

What about you? What social networks would you suggest to use?

I've found it better to submit helpful articles from a niche-targeted website. Let's say I build a site around dog training. My home page pushes people to sitstayfetch by pointing out its benefits. The rest of the site is filled with articles about dog training that direct visitors to the home page. It is the articles that I submit to SB sites...not the home page.

The main reason for this is that people are more likely to stay on the site if you provide something worth reading. I think most folks feel cheated when they get sucked into a link only to find out it is selling something. Not to mention that SB sites are cracking down on spam, and this method gives you a better chance to avoid being blacklisted.

Thanks for the link. That website is pretty useful, but I think that would take really long time to submit your blog to all those websites.

Maybe there is some quicker and more effective way? I also tried bookmarking my blog, using websites like Connotea, Blinklist and Delicious, and I feel that I haven't done anything, because there are no results.

Social Networks is always my first step. Then I write 2-5 articles and submit them only to ezinearticles.com. After articles, I add the link to my blog networks.

I think that's wicked advice. That's what I'm gona do now. I'm new to this also, but I would go with the above and make your ezine SB relevant to the SB sites, their quick on clamping down on irrelevant stuff. I posted some completely irrelevant stuff to say music and gaming sites when i first went thru the social poster list so as to set me up with all the user's and pass's, when i went back in i was banned.

Also, i had a number 4 spot after about 4 hours of posting, then i changed my keyword phrases slightly but kept the same script, set up a few more sites, SB marked them- 2 days later the No 4 spot disappeared, in fact the site does not exist on google but it does if you type the url, i think i was slapped! Keep it original and relevant.

For me, social bookmarking used to be pretty decent, but I've noticed it's starting to goto crap now. Google has promised it's going to crackdown, so it's definitely not a sustainable strategy.

social bookmarking is cool if you use it for promoting instead of just PR juice

Forum posts with a sig link.

    Dofollow blog posts.

    Paid directory submissions.

    Links from relevant websites.

    Link baiting.

By the way this would be non mass work.....anytime there is mass submission you can rest assured its going to be seen as artificial by the search engine of choice.

Links that are built in a slow natural way will have more value to you in the long run.

Social bookmarking links are okay but if your site isn't really offering anything novel or new then they have limited power in helping your rankings.

(this may or may not hold true if someone is targeting long tail non competitive keywords)

No he is not going to give away his work......try this

    Go to google.com

    search - dog training guides

Now you have a whole list of sites to visit and some work to do...

No problem man. What I recommend you to do, is to go with the one that has better page rank on google.

I don't know. I've just been observing something that used to work for me, but isn't doing squat anymore.

I've switched to this method. It's a lot more work, but I can hold a google ranking for quite a long time with minimal work after the initial countless hours of writing.

It does suck to write 10 or 15 articles to start with, but once you finish that first wave then it is all downhill. If I find a profitable niche then I will add 1 or 2 articles a month and bookmark them each one to 50 or 75 sites. This seems to keep my rankings alive.

Thanks. I'll make a note of that. Currently, I am bit lost about backlinks, so your post helped me a lot.

BTW, what do you people think about paid backlinks? For example, www.backlinks.com ?
