HotSauce I've heard that there were problems with Paycheck statistics, and actually I've had them as well. But sales should not be affected.
hi HotSauce, I have got the same problem, i used to avarage at least 150 daily, with 6-8 sales/day, however, from the 8th the sales have dropped to a mere sale per day (today not even 1). I dont think this is just a fluke since i promote products in different niches and didnt changed anything lately. I called Clickbank and they replied with: "Thank you for contacting ClickBank. ClickBank did not experience trouble with reporting sales. The maintenance done on 01/08/08 did not affect sales." Very very strange, looks like they screwed something up and effect only a few affilates.....
Yes its better, but still the support didnt helped much, at least in my case. As posted earlier they just told me that the sales were not effected. I replied back that its strange that one have a number of sales each day and then after a maintenance plan the sales drop dramatically to 1 or 0 a day. Its Common sence to think that something went wrong in their update since this problem started to occur after that The second email they replied with tips on how to increase sales, such as to advertise in magazines, google, newsletters.... .... wt* i didnt asked them to give me tips on how to increase sales, but to make them aware that this thing is very strange (and hopefully they can look at it), especially when im not the only one effected..
I once contacted them for the same and got the same anwer. they just paste and copy and reply to you.Third day without any sales now, I'm getting pissed off now.
I pretty much got the same reply in different words. I haven't changed anything myself. Looking at todays stats so far, I think it may begin picking up again. I'm sure it had something to do with the update as it's not normal for me to experience the dip for the two days.
I've noticed the affiliate is now listed in capital letters on the vendor's purchase page. Can this be the problem? Anyone noticed this?
I noticed this as well. I doubt it's the problem.. because sales have begun picking up today (so far). It was probably a system problem they screwed up and aren't admitting to.
Thats good news, lets hope everything is back to normality! They screwed something for sure during the update & affected us. The problem is that clickbank probably recieves loads of emails complaining about loss of sales, mostly due to market flukes so their customer support tend to reply with the same exact thing. But again, its common sence that if their was an update and then suddenly the sales went down to nill, the problem is because of the update. Knowing clickbank, even if they have such a problem, they would probably say that everything is fine while they will be trying to fix it in the background.
They always say everyting is fine with your sales... I had such a problem back in september 2007. No sales for 4 days and I mailed them. Got the same bull*** answer. Two consec. day after no sales. My sales tripled to +- $1000/ for 2 days. After that, back to normal. Strange, isn't it. I wonder if they are a really professional company. Huuh yes, if they are pros, they reply with bull** answers.
Looks like yours was the same problem. Thers no way it's a market fluke, period. The Bull** answers are used to keep their success, its obvious that if they confess that they have so many technical problems which result in affilates not getting their commission is a really severe situation. People are loosing loads of money because of this. Just think those that spend thousands in adwords!
I agree. But the problem is that there is no way we can prove them wrong as affiliates. It's our word against theirs. They should really look into this since it seems that a lot of people are experiencing this during the same time.
Not even 1 sale during this period ? Since i got a sale yesterday. apart from that i bought a products using me own clickbank link to test if everything is fine and it worked as well. At this stage im thinking to stop everything, im loosing money everyday and its not worth the waiting especially knowing that clickbank is not doing anything to sort it...
