We will need you to set up a policy which follows all of the requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), and will also help you to take advantage of the safe harbor provisions provided by the DMCA for ISPs who provide information location tools. Part of the DMCA policy would require that you register a copyright agent with the United States Copyright Office and act expeditiously to take third party websites off the list or disable access to such sites from your service upon your receipt of a conforming DMCA takedown notice received regarding the website (as you stated in part of the things that you can do in your email). We have put together a template, for informational purposes only, on what needs to be included in a DMCA policy in case you need assistance in that area. What does this mean in simpler terms? Whats your product? It does sound like you are jumping on the either the MP3 / file downloads etc space and CB are protecting their behinds.
