Has anyone else's sales come to a sudden halt? My sales have been at zero now since October 4th. I was doing $250 a week consistently then October 5th sales suddenly stopped and have not returned. Traffic and hops are remaining the same. Has anyone else experienced this?
Same here as well... Just 1 sale in the past 14 days Targeted traffic, lots of order form impressions, zero sales. Quite fed up with CB's tracking system.
don't get me started on their subIDs.... but their offers haven't tanked for us at this point. thankfully!
Traffic is the same as it has always been. I get a lot of organic traffic on my site, 5000 to 7000 unique visitors a day. For some reason these stats don't show the one sale that posted to my account on October 17th. My stats from October 5th to October 19th (today):
there may have been a shift in the search index so that your site is not ranked. Check your metric tools and see where your last sale came from, then see if you know someone from that region of the analytics tool and ask if your site is still naturally ranked under that term, someone you trust.
This things do happen, it's a normal fluctuation, don't worry about it too much, keep on promoting and the situation will even out
you're an idiot. his traffic is fine, his sales are not. that has nothing to do with the "search index"
Maybe the traffic has died up in the sense that most people visiting now, already have been to the site before. There's in my opinion, nothing wrong with CB tracking... There was a lot of debate about tracking not working correctly etc, so I ran a personal test. I bought around 250 of the same product to see if the sales all went through, got tracked properly etc and guess what - they did.
I would create a new account and change your hops. You will suddenly start getting sales, thats how it always is,,,,,
So check this out... I emailed Clickbank complaining on October 19th, and I got back from them an exact copy of an email from months ago with only the name changed. The next day, October 20th, sales started to post again, but only a couple. Coincidence? I think not. On Oct 20th my account Daily Snapshot showed 1 sale, but my analytics showed that I had made 2 sales (See Screenshot Below). I had not been paid for a sale, even though analytics said I had made it. I've sent off a new email demanding to know why I haven't been paid, and I asked them how many more sales am I not getting paid for. If there was a viable alternative to Clickbank, I would drop them at this point. I'm convinced they are stealing my commissions. If they aren't stealing them, then their system is totally screwed up. Either way they are either not paying me, by design or by error. Analytics from Oct 20th.
Yeah, I've documented this phenomenon. I went from the best few weeks of sales to a week of zeros. I complained. They replied to my email saying that their servers are perfect and it's something on my side. 6 minutes after I received that email I get a sale.
I'm experiencing the same downturn in sales. I'm on my fourth day of zeros. Traffic remains consistent -- the only thing missing are the sales I would normally have. Oh, and by the way, to the person who said work harder and stop complaining, I'm surviving on five hours of sleep a night, so I don't think I can work much harder. I've seen this exact same scenario being reported in other forums -- traffic remaining steady with zero sales and also conflicting analytics page info. On one of my products, I had 20 order form submits with no sales. Never seen anything like that before. I really believe Clickbank is having issues again -- just wish it would stop.
My sales are fine here. In fact I have never been this happy with my sales snapshot sheet. Stop blaming clickbank for your misfortunes. It is a business cycle. Just keep on doing the same work. Gone are those days when i thought clickbank was shaving!
Yeah, my sales are fine too, I think it depends on the niche you are in, some products sell better in the summers and some sell well in the winter, also another thing to consider is the kind of traffic you are getting. But these types of threads dont help increase sales, it would be better to just keep working hard and making new campaigns.
