If you run your affiliate program through Clickbank and your customer asks for a refund, does their system automatically refund the money they paid you? Also, do you still have to pay your affiliates if the customer they referred to you gets a refund? Still have a lot of questions.
Automatically it will be deducted from your commission. If ever the check has been released already, still not a problem for them because 10% of your earnings will be put on hold, just for in case some will ask for refund. So yeah, you won't be paid for the refund. You have to live with it. That's part of the clickbank life.
Yes, it's part and parcel of Clickbank. I go through this every month. If you really want to know how clickbank works, the best is to go ahead and start promoting something. Get a feel of it. Good luck!
The problem is CB is not protecting their publisher's products and this is not right at all. The refund policy needs to be changed thats for sure. I have a way that prevents the buyer from asking for a refund however the quality of your product should do that alone.
Yes, the refunds can be a problem, as I have been on both sides. But when you are looking to buy something digital, I always look to Clickbank because if it isn't what the seller is advertising then you can get a refund. Howard hsmith34
Clickbank will just refund customers for any reason they provide. Even lame excuses just 5 minutes after the purchase, especially in the money making and marketing niche. This is a very big problem. =(
