Is anyone else experiencing an increase in clickbank refunds??? maybe i should switch my products. what do you think?
I am very careful on what kind of products I promote. I do thorough research before I choose a product and of course I experiment with it to see refund ratio or I purchase the product myself and use it and show what my experiences were with it. The good, the bad, the ugly. Another thing is the way you market it. The content you write to market it. If you promise things that probably aren't realistic then that will lead to refunds. But you don't really need to stress if you are using organic methods. You do gotta watch your refund rate so it doesn't affect your CB allowance. cheers!
Going with what Knight1 said, watch what products you sell. I used to just promote what was selling well at the time and paid the price on a few of those products because of high refunds. One of the forex robot products killed me.
I think CB increased the ease of use for the customer to get a refund. As a vendor, I see quite a bit more refunds coming in ever since they introduced the ticket system.
Its a good idea to switch products and test other products. With so many dynamics you may convert better for other products and who knows if there might be less refunds. For ex roduct A(My product) does convert equally good like other products but has only a 10% refund rate while others have 25%. So Affiliate X from this forum who tried all the products in this niche sticked with mine. He is earning atleast 15% extra because he tried all the programs and knows the refund rates exactly.
a person that has an ordinary product with good marketing skills will do better than one with a good product and average marketing skills.
hey, thanks a lot for your input guys. at this point i am having a lot more success with my own products, so im probably just going to stick with that. however i may do some more clickbanking in the future.
There are many bad customers now online, they used the product and then asked for refunds..especially ebooks...
