I was just wondering if you guys who are promoting Clickbank products via PPC traffic, do you have a landing page or are you just sending the traffic straight to the seller's own pitch page?

I see people do both. I think you need landing page for adwords but the other sites you could use the direct page.

You don't need a landing page for Adwords, but you do for YSM.

If you can create a landing page better than the seller's pitch page, it is better to create it.
If you can't or if you feel it is time consuming, it is better to send traffic directly to seller's page.

One advantage of creating landing page is that, you can present several products of the same type on that page and your visitor can choose from among those products.

From my experience, I understand that providing more choice to visitors improves sales.

Yeah, I use a landing page. It is much more beneficial, you can promote more, sell links, adsense it up and generally earn even more money from it.
Also I think it may attract more customers having the choice to go to the product, rather than forcing them :)

We're trying both ways, too early to tell if one is best.

I think a good landing page can increase dramatically the conversion rate. Like a review (without hype) or something like that. Btw adsense on a landing page or showing several products in that niche never really worked for me, I mean if you use adsense, the possible buyers may click on the ad and buy the product through another affiliate. If you show several products on the landing page, than the potential buyer won't know which one to buy unless you tell the potential buyer, that he/she can buy x, y, and z products in that niche, but product 'y' is the best one because it worked for you, product 'y' is more detailed etc...
