Is that all you do? What incentive is there to remain subscribed when you can get the same info through rss feed?

My theory is that people sign up for the freebie and then get sucked into viewing the mails. It's easy to unsubscribe but many don't coz they want to give the person a chance.

Then others will want to keep receiving emails "just in case" they miss something.

Only recently have I finally unsubscribed from all the lists I ever subscribed to!

Parth, what's your daily sign up rate and average daily earnings now?

Apparently, a decent list should make about 50 cents per subscriber per month.

So e.g. 100 signups per day, your target, should mean 3000 extra subs per month and 1500 extra USD per month!

I'm starting my own project myself. Gonna put in a few hours work today. I've never had the staying power before but I think I have solved it...

Rolf - I hear what you are saying. I guess many would signup just for the freebie and would be too lazy unsubscribing as long as you are not sending out rubbish. When I consider email marketing, I just never really considered only directing them to info on your site. (plus I am assuming everyone knows about rss feeds, which may not be the case for non tech niches)

If the main goal is to sell a clickbank ebook to your list, is there an optimum number of emails you should setup in the autoresponder for best conversions before promoting the product?

Hey thanks for the tips on list building. Its hard to get traffic to the sueeze pages for me, because i usually use SEO for other websites, but thats not really an option for a single squeeze page. I avoid ppc though, because I just can't seem to get it to convert any more, with such high cost per clicks

You can use SEO to get traffic to landing pages. Create a large content site and link to the landing page.

Rolf - sales have ben down recently. i think its because anyone who was going to buy something from me has bought something. So I'm trying to get more tsrgeted traffic into my email list and am sending iut less emails.

i been working alot on SEO which has doubled traffic snce from a long term standpoint I would like to see more sales from SEO.

(sry, writing with one and eating an apple with the other)

but i might just try to capture people who are about to leave as email subscribers,

Thanks. Yeah initially the results were great! However, the past few weeks sales have been low. This week so far I'm up to the $90 mark, and i'm sure to break $100 again.

I will share my progress when the week ends for me (Tuesday)

Article marketing does work but it requires a lot of hard work / outsourcing.

You need to submit at least 10 - 15 articles daily (quality content) if you want to make a stable income with article marketing alone. When I've first started I thought submitting 1 - 2 articles will do wonders however they won't. It's only after having 1000 - 2000 articles out there when you can start seeing constant profits / daily sales.

    Cheers.

That's one of the reasons why I'm focusing more on SEO. Instead of writing 10-15 articles on Ezine, why not write those articles on my site and boost my SEO?
