Clickbank product poll | need affilaites advice for kick ass new product!

    Hey all,
My business partner and I are going to try our hand at a new product in the relationship niche BUT we are doing things a bit different.

Instead of the old "Get Your Ex Back" (a great product by the way) we realized there is a huge market for "how to get a date" or "how to get a realtionship,boyfriend/girlfirend niche.

Online dating is huge but a lot of people dont want to do that but would rather get trained on how to ask a women out when they come face to face with them.

    Our question is:

Would you promote a product on how to get a girlfriend/boyfriend.

We will have a kick ass affilaite section with up to 10 landing pages and full blown 10 page websites, up to 60 articles up front and 1 article a day for year, videos you can use on your site and our prodcut will consist of actual interviews in various age ranges of men and women telling the opposite sex of what they want in a relationship.

Nothing out there has been done like this on CB and we want to be the first to do it BIG. We also see that [how to "relationship"] gets a lot more searches than [how to get back].

Let us know if you would be interested!

    Ryan

Not really because the market is too saturated, that's my opinion.
It think it will be better to focus on a niche inside this niche. For example "how to get a brunette/blonde/black girlfriend", etc. You get my point, something 1 level deeper than just "how to get a gf/bf".

Good luck and keep us posted please.

I understand the market is saturated in the relationship niche but there are no products on CB that are how to date. If there are they are not good or even being promoted.

I looked up 20 Keywords and 15 of them would be easy to rank for so I know the competition on Google is not that great for this exact niche.

Anyway, thank you for the feedback! Much appreciated!

You can find pretty much anything on Clickbank :)

Here's just one example of "how to get a girl" type product > http://www.guygetsgirl.com

But again, nowadays pretty much everything is saturated, so if you want a piece of the pie, then you just have to do it better than others.

Competition is a good factor, but it means it won't be easy to crack that niche.

I would not actively promote this product. The simple reason being is the key difference between:

    Information words
    and
    Buying words

How to get a date, how to get a boyfriend/girlfriend IMHO are information words.

There are many forums (cosmo for example) people (friends) and similar that can give people this information for free.

In addition the idea of selling someone a step by step guide to getting a boyfriend is a scary thought.

    Page 1, Paragraph 1

Women, if you want to get a boyfriend then go into a bar and make it clear that you; like to dress up, try new things and are highly flexible.

    Page 1 Paragraph 2

Men, if you want to get a date with a woman simply walk up to them and ask whilst flashing cash about.

    End....

Then you can do an upsell ebook: now you know how to get a man/women time to get the RIGHT guy or girl LOOOOL

Also in terms of dating niche - mystery method, the game, and there is a hell of a lot of dating niche products around they just label themselves under seducation.

The market is highly highly saturated so this is not something you want to half bake

Thanks for the feedback. We have done a poll on Facebook and the results were overwelming. 92% said they would promote this product because the How to get ex back niche was a dead horse. To many people out there, we found in our polls, want to move and start dating again...not get back with the ex. They broke up for a reason so why go back.
If you my age, 31 years old, dating can be a scaring an unfamilar thing especallialy if you have been in a long relationship and have not dated in a while.

I get the fact between buying and information words but "how to get ex back" is an imformation word as well but sells like crazy........

I will let all of you know when we have out product tested and ready to promote!

Will it be similar to something like "Double Your Dating"? Eben Pagan is marketing guru and I like his approach in the niche...

I think some specific and very niche towards a demographics would work...

There are CB products for dating for Asian men (as they are "sterotyped" to be dateless in the media), dating for Geeks, dating for shy folks, dating for virgins, dating for fat guys, etc. Much easier to promote with less competition...

    It's much easier to targ

Well , I am not in the favor. These are practical applications does not really work on theory.

If at all I am able to rank for those keywords then I will make the eBook myself. [This will be anyone's opinion I guess]

In Nut-Shell I will not plan to make a course on that thing due to x-factors.

I feel like if you have a good way to promote this product then it could be a great idea. I agree with what some others said that this is a very competitive niche but as long as you can get it out their to the right potential buyers, this niche could be a killer.
