Clickbank problem

    Hi,

I was about to this bunch of sales from my list members on clickbank. I created a new clickbank account and gave them my hoplink. The reason I am not using my main clickbank account because these sales are more to incentives for my list members rather than real ppc sale.

Here what I did. I bought xxxx amount of traffic and while the traffic running I told a dozen of my list members to signup with the hoplink I sent them, they went there and had difficulties in paying, all of them. They all got this message "Unable to process this purchase currently" or something like that.

    What is the problem??

I would search on the CB FAQ
I've never had any problems with getting credits for CB sales

Ok guys, let me explain again. I have members in my membership site and it's forum. I stay close to them and give them incentives in exchange of buying something that will be useful for them + will make me money. When they do that, I'll give them VIP membership for free.

So what I did was get a dozen of my members to buy something that I am promoting in Clickbank. I sent xxxx amount of traffic directly to my hoplink to make the sale look real. The problem arrives when they try to buy the product, all of them got this same message when they hit the "pay now" button -- > "Unable to process this purchase currently"...

All 11 of them got that message when they try to purchase the product. What went wrong?

Simple, the clickbank payment processor was not able to process the transaction at that time.

That error is very common and just means that the clickbank payment was down/ or just blocking the transactions by their fraud detection system.

no ... he means that the fraud detection probably got tripped ...

imagine, clickbank is sitting there waiting, and gets no hops for a long time ...

suddenly it gets say 1000 hops within 5 minutes of each other ...

quite likely their fraud detection system goes "this looks unusual" and starts stopping payments on the account ...

now i'm not saying that this is what happened, but basically, the fraud detection systems is always there looking for anything that looks suspicious, and i suspect a large influx of traffic may've looked suspicious ... a dozen members buying stuff is unlikely to cause any problems, but bad spammy traffic probably is ...

    just my 2c ...

that sounds fine. It shouldnt be a problem.
People are always doing e-mail marketing. With one e-mail to xx,xxx's or more people. so generation of sales in one go is alot.
If it continue to happen, contact them directly by phone and speak !

Yep thats right, i would say its more about the country or origin, if the hops are mostly from china or singapore?

Or someone tried tu buy with a stolen credit card...

That's scary shit. If they are having such problem on regular basis, we are doomed and sales are gonna go down really low. Please update us with their reply.

    I too am seeing problems.
i dont understand why cb is so un-professional in this matter. it just dosent allow people to buy and even if they buy, credit is given to some different publisher ( yes you heard it correct! )

clickbank is a mistery in need of good competition. Most likely, clickbank credit processor keeps on file credit card numbers with many issues in the past. Certain cards from certain banks or countries are looked on with suspicion. My believe is they shave off some of your sales and I have been trying to prove it. If you start getting many sales, your conversion % will drop. New accounts always perform better than old ones---just my 2cents.

This is exactly when P2P products were removed. Please learn your facts before trying to jump on the CB bash-wagon.
