How long does it usually take for clickbank to accept your website as a publisher?

The last one I submitted was accepted in about one day. I've heard of a few hours to a few business days. If you've been waiting since last week, it's probably because of Thanksgiving.

3-5 days for your first product. Once you have a good rep with them it's usually one day/overnight. If 5 business days go by without a word from them simply email a gentle nudge, their staff is actually quite helpful and supportive.

Cheers, don't let the butterflies get to you, i know how excited ppl get when their first product launch happens :) Good for you for taking the step from aff to publisher, a great game awaits you.

I submitted my first one last week, still not accepted. :O What all do you have to complete? Just ad the product, and update "my site", and wait? Then you fill out the rest?

All you really need is your thank you page, and your sales letter, along with terms (56 day/8 week money back guarantee, 'clickbank sells our products' text, etc.).

if you fumble along the way, CB will help and outline whatever it is you might have missed. Again if it's been past 5 days just send them a gentle email reminder/question re your account.

Do you have to offer an 8 week money back guarantee?

You're very welcome, and thank you kindly for your comments, appreciated :)

** Yes, you must put your refund policy and it MUST say either 56 days or 8 weeks (or both to be safe).

Don't let this scare you - every business (well 95%+) have refund policies, and you WILL probably have a refund here and there, it's ok it's a part of business, just don't let it get out of hand. If you're new - You may be targeted by those lurking to exploit 'thank you page searches', and or pro refunders that buy just to refund but keep your product etc. Unfortunately that's the risk we take with digital dist.

Flip the script, most successful vendors will make their refund policy read as follows:

"MY IRON CLAD NO RISK 56 DAY GUARANTEE!! I'm SO confident that this product will help you, that if you are NOT satisfied within the first 56 days or 8 weeks, I'll give you a 100% no questions no hard feelings no guilt trips refund! So you have absolutely NOTHING to lose today..."

Make your customer feel comfy shopping with you, you'll retain them longer, and hopefully you don't OVERhype your offer, and won't have any refunds.

Another final tip I'll leave you with - GIVE YOUR CUSTOMER FREE EXTRA NON-ADVERTISED BONUSES. Once they pay, and come to your download page, THANK THEM tremendously, and under your main product download, give them 1 or 2 more bonuses that they were not expecting. This way a) They know that when they buy from you - you REALLY hook them up! It's a pleasurable experience, and b) You will avoid MANY refunds, ppl may not like your product 100%, however the bonuses and your genuine nature may persuade them not to refund. Get personal with them, if you can - make them literally 'feel bad' for refunding *Do not abuse this though, be legit, be honest, and always overdeliver.

Waited about three days then got a list of things i needed to change I will include them here cause they are proabably common mistakes. As soon as I fixed them I sent an email and I was active.

Please remove any statements regarding specific amounts of money you
can earn using your product/service. We are no longer able to accept
    any websites which
    include these types of statements.

Please add your contact email address to your thankyou pages. Display
your email address so that you can provide technical support if the
    customer has
questions about the product they purchased. Do not simply make a
clickable email image or button. You must actually display your email
    address visibly so
that the customer can see it.

Please remove from your thankyou page URL any verbiage that refers to
Clickbank as a payment processor. For example: "Your credit card will
show a charge from Clickbank or Clickbank.com not exilarate.info as they
handle all of our ordering processes."

Clickbank is an online retailer. We are neither a credit card processor
nor aggregator. If you would like to replace that statement here is an
    example that
    many publishers are using now.

"Clickbank sells our products - they are a trusted online retailer
specializing in digitally delivered products. Your billing statement
will show a charge from CLKBank*Com"

    Here's another question about approval....

When I submit my sales page, do I need to already have the hop link in there? Or do I just have a non-working link for my BUY NOW links?
I will be submitting my first product for approval in another day or so...I am excited!!! :)

Wow, they're really getting picky now, aren't they. And here I was thinking that it stunk because you can't edit a recurring payment.
