I was seeing refunds even after I rcieved $ 662. Now am I on credit? will they deduct 410 usd from my future earnings? Or how does it work? Clickbank pays after the refund period of 2 mths or in the midst? Does anyone has a clue? THX.
Thats why you have to be very choosy at what you promote, but please do not blame Clickbank, they are just the money processor, in 90% of the cases you have to blame the vendor for producing crappy products or providing S***y service.
Okay I think I made a mistake. The actual numbers. My total earning is $1,207 usd and the refunds are $536 and what I am paid is 670 usd. Which then when I calculate it, 1207-536= 671 Which is RIGHT. That means I have no credit with them. I think Clickbank pays only after the refund period of 2 months ends.
^ Sorry wrong. Clickbank pays when you specify them to pay you regarding a threshhold. Yes you can find yourself getting paid, and then a flood of refunds coming in. I've owed clickbank over $8,000 at one point (Got paid out 40K+, and also had tons of refunds the following month, and yes your account shows a minus, -$8,342.94 - you will not be paid out again until you pay that back). Yes you have to pay it back, and yes Tazer is correct you have to be careful what you promote, and Ripped is correct as well, you can't blame clickbank - infact you should kiss clickbanks ass for still paying you well before the refund period and your allowance not covering you at all... If you were a processor (clickbank) and someones product just caused you -$8,000, would you let the vendor or affiliate get away with it? This is how mass fraud works and I'm sure clickbank has their hands full of this stuff all the time, and or they have filtered it down to a minimum but yes it still happens.
I think you should switch to other products. The refund rate for whatever products you are promoting is HUUUUGEEEE!
Yes, as others have said be careful with what you promote. Those big colored bars are addictive I know but if it is not translating into profits then pick another product.
Jeez I would stop promoting that product immediately, instantaneously Almost half of your time and hard work down the drained there.
Yeah, that's probably just a waste of time. Pick a product in an evergreen niche, something that people really crave for. Find a winner a stick to it.
I think you should take time to choose products to promote after this.....because it seems like the product you promote is horrible product......
Oh guys I forgot to check DP forum quite for some time and that is why I was late to respond. Pardon me. Most of the products I promoted are make money products. I even found myself buying them and asking for a refund because I got not what is promised. What I resent on these products is that the sales pages will NEVER tell you how they work. You will only find out after you join. This is realy bad. You know what happens sometimes, You buy some make money product for 37 or so and when you find it useless, you think asking for refund for that small amount is like being a naggy person to Clickbank or you may feel ashamed of asking repeated refund and rather choose leaving the money there. To tackle this, why don't they give us a birds eye view of their product? Like those of softwares. You can use trial versions of softwares before you BUY. After you see it then you will decide if you want to invest money on it or not. I am affiliate of regnow.com (software affiliate program) and I faced only 1 refund of 21 sales. This is what we affiliates need and When you guys say "choose quality product" you are right. From now on I will try to do my best to minimize refund rate. Thanks.
There are a lot of very poor products on clickbank but to there are also a lot of very good products on clickbank. As others say make sure you test the waters a bit and pick a product that not only works for you but is high quality.
choosing a product is the most important in clickbank , green products are top niches , they have less refund , the refund returns to your product , clickbank doesnt make mistake at all. if something is you're right it pays otherwise will deduct amount like refund, chargeback .
