I just went through and ordered my own product to make sure everything is working correctly due to the huge drop in conversion rates I've experienced. I was able to purchase it and the sale was recorded properly which should make me feel better about things (it doesn't.) I find this really annoying about the ordering process: Why do they not have a place for "City" when you first fill in your information and then they tell you that you made an error by not filling in the city... when there was no place for city the first time. They add that the second time. I'd like to think they have some good reason for this but it seems to me that this would be annoying to a customer. Just doesn't make much sense to me. I don't think I explained that very well but if you go through the motions of trying to order something on clickbank you'll see what I mean. You don't have to actually order something to see it.
I have bought several cb products and I have never had to enter my city before, maybe it is just for those in the United States
i believe its because of New York's new sales tax on internet goods. I live in NY and had to fill out my county/city before the sale went through.
Ahh. Very interesting. So it's only us New Yorker's that have to deal with that extra step? That's good.
