Yes, your first account in CB costs $50, but additional accounts cost $29.99. I use different accounts for different niche products I sell. Also to build my gravity by referring across my accounts. CB now allows direct deposit for some countries. I believe it's free?
Are you talking about a seller account or an affiliate account? Because the account I have is an affiliate account, and I don't want to pay $50 just to promote products.
Affiliate accounts at clickbank are free where as seller accounts cost $50 to start. I have had success with both clickbank and paydotcom. In my opinion you should use both of them and analyze your own results any type of affiliate/online marketing should be tested, tested, and tested again. While I make more money from the clickbank affiliate program, I market there products more. I would say that paydotcom is good because it seems commission theft would be less of a problem since it is not as well known as clickbank.
Right, but at the same time there might be publishers who just don't pay affiliates their commission and disappear after a while. Read PDC forum - there are several such cases reported.
do CB and paydot promote some of the same publish/advert or are they exclusive to one or the other? in other words can I find the same product on both?
Yeah, thats right. Clickbank has 20 times paydotcom's traffic based on alexa. And see the fees schedule comparison between them here: http://paydotcom.com/fees.php Thanks
