What is your affiliation with Platinum Partners? Judging by your 15 posts here you seem to be quite the cheerleader for them.

I think P2P products had a high refund rate/ a lot of their custoemrs were unhappy with the product. That's why CB have decided to not be in that area altogether.

This kind of reminds me of the Google adwords thing - improve quality before accepting cash so it increases trust in your brand as a whole.

Yeah anyone could have seen this one coming. Those were very less than legal. I was actually surprised that they lasted as long as they did. I didn't market any of those luckily.

That's not fair at all, $50 or $20 chargeback plus refund. This way, I think in the end of each period at Yourclick, our total sales would be below zero!!

Guys, I don't know why you've been so actively discussing YourClick here, but just because they allow "movie downloads" products it doesn't make them a perfect affiliate network, that you should immediatelly switch to from good ol' CB.

    My 2 cents....

We are "actively" discussing it because the truth of the matter is that these sites remain HUGE markets and many affiliates such as myself depend on them. I thought an alternative to Clickbank is something that at least some people could find beneficial.

Who knows, YourClick might not work in the long run, however for the moment I'm trying it out as an alternative to Clickbank.

Platinum partner will turn yourclick.com into a perfect alernative. They are going to help them include new payment types and I am positive platinum partner wouldnt have gone to them without seeing any potential in their system.

with chargebacks as high as $20 , PPC marketers will get killed ..paid trafic will hurt as the refunds rate is high on this products ..you are fine if you have organic traffic

It seems like PDC is the best alternative, for now at least. Is this the general consensus?

Although this situation is much different than when Craigslist went to using "Phone Verified Accounts" for almost all categories, it's surely the same with respect to a lot of Internet marketers getting SCREWED from a "major change" on one of the "Big Boy" networks!...

With that said, the smell of opportunity is in the air for a select few.

I love when things like this happen because there are usually a few "super-hyper niches" created from a major "swing" like this, and if you can find them, it's like finding gold.

All it takes is a little research and persistence.

I see a lot of people above are asking where to send their traffic now...

I'll bet there are several thousands of people that are saying the same thing.

A SMART Internet marketer would be looking to supply these empty handed affiliates with a replacement. Will you be the first to find it?:D

    Out ~

It can't be the alternative with no tv/movie download products, all I can see is satellite tv. The only alternative is the network with the right products.

when I try to signup to affiliation cash, it redirects me to "http://myaffiliatemedia.com/affiliates/register.htm"
this has been like forever, I remember contacting them about this a few years back, and they said "what is myaffiliatemedia" ? they don't seem to know their own link redirects there (for selected IPs I bet).

Anyone know what is this about?

You are absolutely right. YourClick has all of the tv/movie download products available, so in my opinion it's the best alternative to Clickbank right now.
