So I sign up for a ClickBank account and go to the marketplace and look for products to promote. I do not know if I'm just angry today but this site it pissing me off. It must be me because a lot of people seem to love ClickBank. What if I want to go look at what I'm promoting? Where do I go within my account? What if I "lose" the URL code? I click promote again and it gives me a completely different URL. Is this somehow "tied" to me to ensure I earn a commission if I make a sale? Can't I just find the original URL code from somewhere within my account? I've tried looking at ClickBanks Help Center and it makes me want to throw my computer out the window. Can someone please provide me with some guidance?
The URL you get by clicking the promote button is an encrypted version. Even though the second URL is different from the first, both will contain your affiliate id. So don't bother about that. All you need to do is just copy any of the URLs and remember it (save this URL to a safe place in your computer) and use it in time of your promotion.
Whatever products I promote I copy my aff link to a text file and have it handy when creating content and such.
If you lose the url, you can create it again, it might be different but as long as you entered your affiliate id properly there should be no issues. To see what you are promoting check the analytics page of your account and you would see the clicks you are getting. If you have not gotten a click for a product it will not show.
I'm not understanding this. I log in to my account, click the Promote button and then enter the optional Tracking ID and hit create and get the necessary URL. It's fairly easy unless I'm reading more into the above quote?!
The actual link Clickbank provides may change from time to time, because the links get encrypted. However, it will always take the visitor to the same page. So yes, it is actually very easy to use.
