    Hello

I am a clickbank newbie from the uk and must admit clickbank is a little confusing.

What would your advice be for starting out in trying to promote clickbank products?

I have a blog that I use to test things out, would it be best to maybe promote 10 products from clickbank on there and use blog ping systems to pick it up?

Are there any really good storefront systems either free (I have limited funds at present) or cheap that you would recommend?

Any help or advice much appreciated

    thanks

There are so many ways to make money from clickbank and this forum is FULL of information. Get familiar with the search button and use it regularly.

Unfortunately we are not allowed stickies in our small corner of the world as there are some pure money making basics but sadly they are all hidden will down the forum.

You really don't need anything flash, you know what blog and ping is so your ahead of the pack already. Just do some keyword research, find a product, put a simple blog promoting that product and SEO your little heart away.

Do a search for Bum Marketing, NcMedia, Petehols, you'll find a ton of reading to do and some really good information to get you started.

    Good luck.

    Targeted traffic is KEY

I use blogging regularly to make most sales. What I like about blogging as opposed to regular landing pages, is that with blogging, you can literally have hundreds of different landing pages.

Each blog post is essentially a landing page. Write a blog post, put a product promotion (or 2, or 3) under each post.

Make sure you use tracking ids to figure out where a sale came from. Once you know that a blog post converts into a sale, you can a) write ezine articles to send traffic back to that blog post, and b) try to write similar posts with the same format.

Learn everthing you can, read everthing you can find, find a nitch you like, and do not give up. Seriously, do not give up is the most important thing. You will find something that works.

Spider, used to have the same problem. But, that was because I was thinking too much about my posts. Right now I can write posts within a few minutes.

As time goes on, you'll realize what posts work and what don't. But to start off, just choose 5-10 keywords, writing your blog posts and see what happens.

Over time you can narrow your keywords down to 5-10 that convert really well, and start working long-tail keywords.

Read Petehols Journal , It is really helpful and inspiring. He did everything with free traffic, all article marketing. Write articles and give a link back to your landing page and that's it. But you have to choose good keywords with less than 50.000 competetors. try to put the keyword between 2 quotes and see the results ( those results are your competetors) Per example:
    Dog training = 40 700 000
" Dog training " = 6 220 000 these are your competetors. that's too high. Search for keywords with 50.000 competetor or less and write an article optimized for that keyword.
    good luck

    CB Storefronts don't work well.

Just choose a product and go. You need to start somewhere to get your feet. wet.

Hey there have you tried looking up Bum marketing? I seem to hear lots of people talking about it quite often! As for the article marketing side of it, you could always hire someone right here on DP.

if you start with 6 domains you'll find your work is really diluted between them all, start off with 1 domain and 1 product, get that going and then start a 2nd if you want..

yeah i realised that as well.

still trying to get my head around the concept of bum marketing.

how can you write so many articles about a single product without repeating or making the articles all seem the same?

i tried to do it last night as a test run at home by trying to write an article about the first thing i set my eyes on which was a glass.

it was not a successful experiment.

any tips on bum marketing ?

problem is my budget is practically zero

    Hi Spider

I started with a budget of $0 and started the bum marketing way. I have now been doing this for 4 months and I have a steady income. You can find out all about bum marketing and what you need to do in my thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1252152 I set this up to help as many people as possible and it will be a very good basis for you to start here.

    Hope this helps

    Pete

that is a great post and very helpful

I have found a great product to promote and am just wating for domain propagation.

am going to try usfreeads first for promotion.

then I am going to see if my article writing is any good.

will probably have to start in earnest this weekend as today have some family stuff to do.

    thanks

If you have money to start off then go with adwords to promote affiliate clickbank products.

If you want free methods to advertise webpage then use article marketing and forum marketing for making click bank money.
