hello there i was wondering if anyone can help me. i am new to all this and i would really like to get started on the right footing. i just signed up with click bank yesterday to promote products i chose my products and got hoplinks for each one. i also managed to write up my adwords advert for one of the products and write down the keywords too: then i think i got lost as i dont understand what it means to inbead the hoplink into my own page. do i have to design my own website to market the product. i am lost and i would really appreciate some help. thanks in advance for any helpful replies.
You should make a simple website that describe the product and why people need to buy it right now. Then add clickbank url to buy it.
i have registered a domain name which is more to do with the product and forwarded it to my hoplink url. so then does that mean i will need to use the new domain as my web page for advertising the product and get hosting? (this is my first own web page!!) so just want to make sure i understand you correctly. do i then put the real hoplink on my advertisment web page for the product?
Hiya, I started the same way you are starting and made $0. If I could give you any advice I'd say to test your products to make sure they sell first before you make a dedicated website. Just my 2 cents good luck!!!
If you want to use Adwords to promote the ClickBank products, you don't need to build any sites. You can directly put the Clickbank urls to the Adwords. If you want to use organic search engines (the free way), you need to build the sites. I suggest you to use blogging platform either WordPress.com or Squidoo.com.
Hey oboshi, Welcome to the world of Affiliate marketing! There's a lot of fun & money to be made online! But if you're not careful, you can easily lose a lot of money. Personally, I'd suggest these steps: 1.) Take it slow. If you're starting out with adwords, keep your daily budget low, and click prices low until you really really understand what all is going on. Don't bid more than 30 cents for a keyword. 2.) Feel free to ask detailed questions if you don't understand something! 3.) There's a lot of free ways to get traffic through your hoplink to a merchant page, such as himanuzo mentioned, like blogs, squidoo articles, ezinearticles.com, usfreeads.com, and lots of other ways that will allow you to test out your marketing ideas before you invest money. 4.) Be very wary of anyone or any product that tells you you can "Dominate Clickbank overnight!!!" or "Make HUGE Google profits with an automated system while you sleep!" Marketing effectively is hard work, and consistently making a profit requires time and energy... but is definitely worth it. Good luck! -T
The easiest way to start is to get a hosting account (here are some hosting coupons ) and install one of the provided blogs. You can start publishing right away and then learn more about html and design over time. Andrew
thanks to everyone for your tips. i really appreciate them as i have already wasted a bit of money already setting up a seperate website which i didnt really need to do at this stage. i will take your ideas on board and beware of ebooks that claim you can make hundreds of pounds overnight!!!
Google Adwords Terms and Conditions don't allow redirected URLs. It is a real hit and miss game this Adwords --> Clickbank game. I have about broken even. There is so much competition out there and getting the "quality" score for Adwords is proving difficult. Good luck.
getting the QS is no big deal if you know how and what to do Also.."competition" is there for mainstream products...say Rocket Spanish, Affiliate Elite, Google Assassin...but there are zillions of niches with low gravity where there is good CTR and very good keywords out and not too many competitors. Just yesterday i came along someone mentioning a product here on the forum...and i went on adwords and this product alone gave me hundreds (i am not kidding) keywords and variations, they have ZERO competition and pretty well search volume...and max. 3 or 4 ads up on google. I tell you its very helpful to read around here on the forum and see what other people say..instead of going to clickbank and pick the "most hyped" product and then bid $5/bid for hyped stuff like "google assassin" or similiar nonsense because everyone and their mama promotes them right now. CB has a lot of c***p products, many products are saturated and hyped also, but there ARE some nice, less known products and niches, and i think thats where the money is!
