Hey guys. I'm after some advice again (damn I love this forum!) I have a chosen Clickbank product that I am currently advertising. I'm tempted to advertise the product on a forum. This forum will randomly rotate my banner at the top of their forum on every page, along with their other advertisers (if you know what I mean). Now, the stats: The site currently receives over 20 million hits/month, over 800,000 hits/day, over 600,000 page views/month and over 150,000 unique visitors/month. Apparently my banner will "usually average 120,000 impressions/month". To advertise on this forum, it will cost me $40 a month. I will also be a "sponsor" on the forum, so I will be able to promote the product there. Now. In order to see profit, I will need to sell 3 of my products a month. Worth a try? Also, I need to make a funky animated banner to catch their attention. Whats the best program for this? Thanks Edit - forgot to mention. The forum is relevant to my product. Obvious I know, but worth mentioning.
yeah really, for a month, that isnt too bad... how many impressions a day? for a 31 day month its around ~3871 impressions/day not too shabby PLUS if you get to promote the product within the forum, ie talking about it etc then thats even way better in my opinion.. thats making it a lot more personal
