Clickbank Journal - GOAL: $500 per month

Hello,

I'm struggling to make money with Clickbank, made couple of checks about $150 each 5-6 months ago then I stopped promoting, I want to start this again more seriously and reach making $500 per month. I made a journal here back than but I didn't mange to follow throw it but I'm giving myself a second chance. I will write my daily work here. I'm doing this to motivate myself, keep track of what I'm doing and most important to get some tips and help in the process from those who are willing to help (I hope there's someone out there). I can call myself something above newbie because I know the basics . Starting tomorrow (24.11.2011, Monday) I will give myself a week to choose 2 products and make some basic research about them (will choose products with gravity from 50-100 to avoid the competition), also will try to pick some good low competitive keywords (will be using Google keyword tool). I will use video and article marketing. For start will be using only redirect to the sales/vendors page, later on will try and build some good landing page.
I'm willing to receive any kind of tips, pointers, tricks, promoting methods and product suggestions, everything you have in mind in order to reach my goal.
For start I got couple of questions for you guys: Are 2 products enough for a start? How many articles should I write and submit daily? Is it good idea to try and rank some of my articles or wait till I make landing page and rank the page? Any tool for checking the backlinks on the sites on Google for my keyword in order to outrank them?

Hope you guys follow and help in the process. Also I hope someone will learn from this.

I suggest you make squeeze pages and don't forget split testing.

 

We have a few products over 50 gravity....you promote only CB products?

 

Well I'm open to ides, in what network your products in?

Squeeze page is landing page or more like squidoo?

 

First GOOD LUCK pal, second let me answer your questions straight away. 2 products is good because you are just starting out a new campaign (goal) so start small and expand as you succeed. Learn what works and what does not work then apply to other products and expand.

More the articles you write better chances of ranking higher and more traffic.
Traffic travis is good for checking backlinks to your site.

Articles? Article marketing is dead since google panda update. Better use different method . . .

 

Video Marketing: Your videos could get traffic from Video Sites + from Search Engines (they use to get good ranks). You can make 1 per keyword you want to target (do some keyword research first and attack long tailed keywords). You can manually do them (1 by one) with tools like Powerpoint + Camtasia or you can use automation software like mass video generator etc. Good Luck.
