    Pete,

Are you using CPA for your 250 voucher, if so which one works best? Also do you build a squidoo/hubpages 1 per each article written?

Google keyword tool and sktool are the most accurate ones out there, apart from marketing tools like market samurai etc.

If you use stuff like wordtracker and seobook, stop trusting their search count as it's extremely random and crosslinked or outdated. They're really useful for coming up with important longtails so it helps article marketing quite a bit.

    @DigitalPlease, dlm & Medica Affiliate

I think i was misunderstood here. I didn't mean the keyword tool is wrong I just meant that google is doing funny things in the search with some niches. They may be doing a dance or something but what shows up in the search for the last couple of days has been changing a lot . E.g one time you search google for "dog training" and it shows results of 578,000 results and then the next time same search throws up 250,000,000 results. This is usually a sign that google are changing things about which is why I don't trust the searches with "" in some niches.

    Thanks

    Pete

Pete, I’ve noticed you are using the same template for your squeeze pages, can you give it to us too? I liked this template very much.

Can we download it anywhere for free?

Thanks and Good luck in your 60 day Marketing!

    Hey Pete,

Looks like it's been a turbulent couple of weeks for you! Unfortunately, with your success, will come a lot of envy and what are now known affectionately in the world as "haters".

The more members you have in the "petehols haters club", the more succesful you should consider yourself to be :)

I like to take positive spins on everything and you'd do well to do the same pete - these people are a display of your success, trust me.

I know it's been discussed that perhaps there are less time consuming ways of earning well online and that what you are doing isn't groundbreaking but sometimes a journal like this is all you need to believe it is possible - So I am at least thanking you for your that.

I'd just like to sign off with question - Are these the landing pages you were using for the other products you were promoting earlier in the journal?

    regards

    Altug

Pete, good going buddy!!! Keep it up, you've made it this far, put it on cruise control!!!

Even if you don't make the goal, you've inspired many people, and you've made more than most people do in a year at a boring job!

@petehols - The cool thing about the whole bum marketing game is that, once you're capable of dealing out in processes that effectively achieve monetization, it is indeed a matter of rinsing and repeating, scaling and multiplying. Which you've been of course doing in an exemplary and rather inspirational fashion these past 8 months.

If a method of promotion based off a specific key phrase nets 5 sales per month... one can get the sales tenfold by putting in 10 times as much work. And then you do it again. After few months of hard work, one will easily complete the first 1k - or 10k - or 100k sales that make him a reasonably reputable marketist, opening the gates for even grander scenarios. It's really as simple as that, as you've been brilliantly demonstrating!

I KNOW you'll quite likely net 25k in the next two months, with your renewed methods. I've already started reviewing your articles, rating and commenting then when relevant - and I trust everybody in this crowd who isn't either a pure leech or otherwise a free-loader will take the time to put in that little bit of effort that will tip your articles in the right direction.

    @everyone:
are you going to just stand there and take advantage of this skillful and resolute marketist? Get out there and reciprocate, will you?! I want us all to get a fancy merry joyful new year's eve, ripe with promise of abundance for 2010.

Lol. now, seriously. Let's get rating and commenting those articles. Let's be relevant, while we're at it. Let's throw in a bunch of links from our blogs and bookmarks while we're at it! Let's not be a bunch of leeching freeloaders. ^_^

    Hello Pete.

Is it necessary to choose a keyword related domain name to get you higher in the rankings or can you just pick a random domain name that fits the description. And why did you go for .info and not for .com?
Whats the main thing to keep in mind when getting a domain?

Just to learn a bit I signed up with the email submit to see what sort of marketing you send out and I wanted to see the CPA(?) offer for the gamestop gc. Those offers always amaze me as I was clicking through just to view them when I reached the end when you click the continue button it just pops up with another affiliate offer, it never actually says you are done or what lol.

Out of curiosity what is the payout on one of those offers? I did an experiment once and after submiting my email to one I received 400+ emails from their 'partners' lol it was horrid.

I think Pete uses .info because the domains are only .88 as opposed to $8

I can answer that for Pete. You do get a small boost for exact match domains.

Regarding, .info instead of .com... We have a couple of .info, even though our current policy is to stick to .com...
We have them because you can get great keyword targeted domain name which have long lost availability of .com (or .net or...).

Also, .info is barely acceptable because you can claim your site is trying to provide information, which is friendlier to this whole SEO content thing.

That is our perspective anyhow ;-)

I use .info myself and it's not because they're cheaper..

But since the majority of traffic comes from bum marketing then why waste money buying .coms? I only need a simple domain, can be anything related to the products I promote ..

.com's tend to make a website seem more "official" or trustworthy and because .info's are so cheap, they're becoming more popular with spammers
