    Hey Pete,

I just spent the past few hours going through this entire thread and I have to start off by saying WOWOWOWOW.

The amount and quality of the information found on this thread is PRICELESS. It beats a lot of products and courses that I've purchased online by a mile.

I'll be implementing pretty much everything discussed here within the next few months and gonna work my a** off in order to achieve my goals.

I have several questions for you:

1-)Is there a reason why you dont outsource more of the work done? Is it just because you like to have control over the entire process? From experience I've found that leveraging my time helps me to scale the process and achieve better results.

2-)The way you use articles to backlink to each other is very similar to a LinkWheel. Have you thought of doing the same thing but expanding to other Web 2.0 properties?

3-)Have you started with video marketing? Are you gonna use a software to convert all your articles into videos or do you have something else in mind?

4-)I know you are coming out with your product soon but I had this idea and wanted to know if you would consider it. To keep it short it would involve your tutoring in exchange of a % of the profit/work done. You would tutor me or a class through a webinar or a series of videos and in exchange for this we would pay you a % of our profits for a certain period of time (ie: 1 year or 6 months). Its just something for you to consider and something that I would love to be a part of.

Last but not least I wanna thank you for this amazing thread and for all the time you have devoted into this whole process.

    Continued success!!!

    Diego

I've read through the whole thread over the past week and pulled out nuggets into a notepad document. its given me a lot of drive to succeed and made me push myself harder, funnily enough this has led to me finidng affiliate programs on web sites that don't advertise them just by asking. keep up the good work.

I know everyone keeps saying it but: You're an incredible inspiration - thank you!

I did the Bum Marketing method back in March but gave up at 20 articles even though I've so far made $150 from it.

You've shown that determination and consistency are the key to making money. The fact you're now making thousands per month gives me hope that if I put in the same level of work I can get out of my miserable job!

One of the thing's that really impacted my motivation was one of the products I was selling had huge numbers of hops but zero sales! So 10 articles 2 websites and a domain turned out to be a complete waste of time and money.

Have you had any products simply not convert?
At what point would you give up on a product?
EDIT: One more question! Are there any affiliate marketing guides that have been particularly helpful in this?

Keep up the good work. You've really cheered me up and given me some hope. Thank you. :)

I have this conundrum. I have real difficulty figuring out how to write quality articles quickly.
Yes I could outsource it but lets assume I do not have much of a budget for a few hundred of unique Copyscape articles. Any ideas? I went through a lot of reasearch about this but I seem to be stuck in here.

Anyway good thread I am hoping to find some help in here.:):p

today morning i saw this thread closed ...
it really pissed me off !!!

or is it just me !!

anyways great going pete....have one question for you:

    hey Pete,

When you submit your main articles in ARTICLEBASE (which points to your landing page)....you said that, you dont stop there...

you go ahead and submit the same or slightly modified articles to other directories....rite ??

    but my question here is...
    • What about the anchor text in the articles you submit to other directories.....does it point to your LANDING PAGE or ARTICLEBASE article ??
    • Or do you just copy the entire jist of the article alongwith the anchor text .....but just mention the source is the ARTICLEBASE article. ??
Hope to see a reply soon.

    Thnks,

    Vinod

    @Everyone

WOOHOO I have not had any word from the moderators but I seen the other thread was closed and by chance I just checked this one and here it is open again. I would like to thank all of you for your support when this occurred it really meant a lot. Hopefully you can all still get a lot more information from this journal. I would also like to thank Digitalpoint for responding to my call for help when asked I know how busy he must be.

Anyway onwards and upwards!! 3 months to go time is running out so have to get back to work quick smart! i need to focussed more than i have previously to make sure the target is achieved by 31st December.

    Thanks Again to Everyone involved.

    Pete

@evk_87 with articlesbase once I submit there I do submit to other directories, However I change the title a little and then just copy the article. In the other directories resource box I put a link to the articlesbase article and also the landing page.

    hope this helps

    Pete

Glad to know this thread was resumed! :)

I'm also wondering about something else on the issue of article promotion. Is it a bad idea to link several AB articles to a main AB article that points to the landing page? Should we aim for linking all articles from external domains?

Just a quickie for Pete or anybody else in the know about article marketing strategies :-

I have a website that was, up until a week ago, receiving 400 unique visitors per day - Since last week I have been receiving between 600-900 unique visitors per day, all organic search engine traffic.

Now if I was to use a similar strategy as Pete, would it be an idea to add the main article to my own website? It is a PR 3 website and almost every long tail keyword that I am adding as content to my site is being picked up on the first or second page of google at the moment (without any bookmarking or backlinks of any sort)

So, what would be the best way to implement this? Put my main, long tail keyword article on my own website and then maybe write a different (shorter) article for the directories and have them all point to the article on my site for more information?

I hope I'm not hijacking the thread - It is in a similar vein to what you are doing, Pete. Have you ever thought about getting a content site up? With your work ethic, you could get it a high PR rank in no time and dispense with the need for the article directories.

Any flaws in my idea? Thanks

Luckily I'm a fan. Unlike other journals you post useful info. After 50 pages I see no reason to close it now after so many have befefited from it. Don't double post and only post if you have some big news or something useful to share ;)

I think that I have figured out why it takes eza so long to post the articles. They most likely verifying each article for a duplicate content which takes some time to do if you think about it and considering how involved it is to verify that the article is i.e. not a copy. :)

@DigitalPlease this is probably they case but they could do this automatically the amount of money they make. The slowness of EZA to publish articles was one of the reasons I stopped using them altogether.

@mikey1090 thanks for you words. I usually post if I can answer peoples questions here or to update the thread. I don't think that was an issue here. I still don't know why the thread was closed but at least it is open again. We can now draw a line under this and move on.

    Thanks

    Pete

Hey Pete, I have a question regarding your Google Trends PDF.

I have published 3 articles and none of them are showing up in a google search when I put the title in quotation marks. Any idea of why this is happening? I have made 0 dollars lol.

Stat counter is showing only 17 unique views between the three of them..I'm guessing this is just from them being at the top of some recently bookmarked list, as they're not showing up in search engines.

It seems like I'm doing everything correctly. The only thing I can think of is there a few services through onlywire that I'm getting a "failed" with. And does it matter if you ping with pingler after you bookmark, because that's what I've been doing.

    Thanks for reading. :)

@madlabs I will contact you shortly.

@ Everyone I have started to see some movement on the youtube side of things. I have sent out the you tube marketing to the list hopefully you have all got it. If you haven't let me know. So if any of you want the google trends and the you tube marketing guide you need to sign up to my list with the link in my sig and this will be emailed to you all.

you tube views are increasing steadily. I am keeping a different track on the you tube visits so that I can track just how well it is doing compared to the other marketing efforts and I will keep you all informed when I have some solid statistics.

    Thanks

    Pete
