    Hi simplyjo

No i hope not they say they will take 48 hours tops. But looking at the way they have moved into final review and that the reviewer has moved them to a news catgory I am hoping that htey will finish them by the time I wake up. I am a good 14 hours ahead of them. It does however put paid to my chance of getting platinum status straight away they will probs put be onot basic plus. But i have another 25 articles to submit so hopefully after that it should be an automatic upgrade. I am going to re-write the article in the queue to make sure that they get approved first time just to make sure.

I will post an update as soon as i find out.

    Thanks

    Pete

    Hi tdave

Yeah all the articles are my own writing I find that way you get more control of the content and the keywords that are in the articles.

    Thanks for reading

    Day 14

OK a fair bit has happened over the last few days. I am a bit annoyed at EZA I have been arguing with them for a few day ( not the best tact I know ) I have 5 articles published and still have 5 sitting in the queue. They have been there since the 3/3 which is well over their advertised 7 days. I don't know if they are just busy or what but this is getting ridiculous. How can I do all this if they only decide to publish a few of my articles every week. It is so frustrating. I now have 50 articles waiting in my draft. 5 published and 5 waiting. It is over 2 weeks since I submitted them and they are still just sitting there waiting. I have emailed EZA and they have no response.

Anyway with the 5 articles I have published they are now on other article sites too they are all accepted and I will be starting the bookmarking of them too. Today I want to get a squidoo page done for the 5 articles and if there is time a hubpage each too. This will take me the best part of the day what with the bookmarking as well. Hopefully by tomorrow I will have more published and can get them done tomorrow then I will be able to submit for my account upgrade. They are just taking so long that it is getting me down. Surely there must be an alternative to EZA. God I wish there was as this is so so frustrating.

Anyway will post an update later today and le you know how its going.

    Thanks for reading

    Pete

Best of luck man. For the best products check out ones that have a high Gravity because they will be a lot easier for you to sell. Let us know how it turns out.

I really don't think that you are going to hurry them up at all. They must receive thousands of articles a day and of course you are way down the bottom underneath the platinum members and of course the premium members.

All you can do is keep writing and stick to their TOS, if you don't you will probably just keep getting ignored which will just add to your frustrations.

    DAY 15

I now have 10 articles approved and I am currently getting reviewed for an account upgrade. So far still no sales but I expected that with the delay in ezine. Hopefully if worst case I get basic plus I will use them up this weekend and hopefully then platinum. Things have gone a lot slower than expected but thats life. I am still writing articles daily and will get them all submited eventually.

Another hurdle that I came across was that they rejected one of my products that I was wanting to promote so I have submitted those articles to articlesbase and will promote them via that and other article sites. Today I am going to write another 5 articles, submit the other 5 articles that got approved on ezine on the other article directories. I also want to create a few squidoo and hubpages for them too but will see how I get on time wise.

So far I am pleased with the progress that is being made and I expect to see a sale or 2 in the next week or so. I am currently going to stick with the 2 products I am promoting with ezine at the moment give me more time to write more articles about the 2 of them. Once I have 50 articles for each product published that will give me a better idea of how they are going to convert.

Here is my ezine stats so far -

    Article(s) Views:
    162
    Profile Views:
    25
    URL Clicks:
    33

Thanks for reading will update again tomorrow.

    Pete

P.S Just been given a basic plus upgrade so I now have 25 additional articles to submit. I will get these submitted this weekend.

Congrats Pete, keep up the hard work.

I did an article marketing experiment once. I wrote an article a day for a month (well... I actually only managed about 26-27 days) about six pack abs (promoting Mike Geary's Truth About Abs), and I'm still getting traffic and making sales from them. And that was before I knew anything about writing good articles!

Best of luck. That sale will come soon, I'm sure.

That's a lot of discipline to write one a day and... SUBMITTING them...

What about outsourcing? You can get very cheap outsourced rates online!!! :) I'm very sure you've already known that.

This is going so slow since being upgraded to basic plus I have submitted another 20 articles to EZA and they still haven't looked at them. They are going really slow at the moment. I am still writing articles and have a fair few in the draft. I will submit the other 5 today. I have also been creating squidoo pages and submitting to other article directories the article that have already been published in EZA. I have also bookmarked the articles as well.

I am currently going to start creating hubpages as well for the articles that have been published.

Any other suggestion on what else I can do to promote these articles would be much appreciated.

I will update again shortly - still no sales to date but will keep you all informed. It is just getting frustrating waiting for EZA to approve.

    THanks for reading

I know EZA takes awfully long. Even as a plat member, i have to sometimes wait for a week for approval. but can't blame them - god knows how many articles they must be getting each day. sigh !
anyways, keep going - u r doing everything right. Maybe you can add articles to your site/blog and promote your blog through yahoo groups or social networking sites like facebook, myspace, orkut and blogging networks like mybloglog.
    Hope this helps.

    Pete,

Hats off to you for making this effort. I think thing will be really slow till you get platinum status. I have many articles waiting and then the other day they are declined for one reason or the other. I am making yet another account and will be extremely cautious for my initial articles to earn that status.

Stay focused, is all I can say.

Once your articles start to get approved I can help you back linking them. I have made a custom article submitter that submits to 400 article directories. This will be a FREE service to you, I will share the resource box with you. I will need articles with details like title, category, keywords. Let me know if you will need this effort from my side.

    Good luck in your mission.

What a great thread! Probably the first thread I have ever bothered to subscribe to. 'Seeing' your progress in real time proves what's required to make money online. You have to work hard and you're clearly doing that. We can also gather that nothing is plain sailing and you'll run into problems from time to time, e.g. EZ delays.

Look forward to following and learning from your progress.

Ok Another update for you guys This will be DAY 18 so far. I got 1 article accepted early this morning ( Australian Time ) so that is one done a crapload more to get approved. I have started bookmarking everything I am doing and am also submitting to a few article directories. If anyone has any good directories I can submit my approved articles too it would be much appreciated. I am only looking for backlinks to my EZA articles in order to get better serp results.

I have quite a few squidoo pages now and they have all been bookmarked too. Starting to get some traffic to them not much 30 visits in 2 days but that should improve. I am going to heavily concentrate on hubpages now to get a few more links out there to start generating more traffic.

If you have any additional ideas on how to get these pages out there any help would be great.

I am really thinking about stopping the direct re-direct from my domain to the publisher and sticking a few wordpress blogs on there to see if I can generate more google listings with the actual blog itself.

A quick question for all you guru's out there. Would it be better to have a wordpress blog or a single html page as a lander? I know the blog will have more pages on it and more chances of getting listed in google for more phrases. However I would like some opinions on this.

Thanks for reading will post again soon.

    Pete
