Clickbank Journal 10 Months $60,000 All Free Traffic

I started few months ago, having minimal success with social booking marking programs and getting link submissions, very few hits, like 2-3 a day. but then i started doing article marketing for last 3 weeks, and since I'm a natural writer thought could be better option. the night that i got premium author on e zine is when my traffic sky rocketed, but its slowed down 24 hours later, any reason as to why guys? anyways the landing page i made was inspired by this thread and can be seen in my signature (not the best product to promote, but hey, money is money right)

 

Usually the article will start off with a really high ranking in Google, then fall off for a week or two and then usually come back and rank reasonably well. Keep an eye on the traffic, it will probably improve...

Just FYI, the premature ejaculation niche is ridiculously saturated...it will be tough to rank well for most of those keywords given the high levels of competition.

 

is 140 url clicks and only 1 sale bad? I only have 9 articles published, with 15 waiting to be approved, but should i have a lot more sales on that?

I'm new here... just starting, but I read a lot about how it works on this forum and I believe that 140 clicks and a sale with 9 articles is a good start ... more will come in a little time with a better conversion rate... good luck

 

I actually started promoting the same product a few days ago - I submitted 3 articles, got 137 url clicks and just 1 sale (I'm direct linking by the way). I'm going to submit a few more articles later but if my conversion rate doesn't improve I'll try a landing page.

 

Direct linking is not as effective, provide a nice review and pre-sell the product you'll soon see better conversions..

 

I'm using a landing page right now, my article method has been about just giving massive value in the form of quick fix techniques to solve the customers problems and then linking to my landing page for more products, but is actually reviewing the product a better way?

 

is this niche really saturated ? i see only 2,5 million when typing "premature ejaculation" [ Results 1 - 10 of about 2,580,000 for premature ejaculation ] without the quotes. and i dont see much competition i could rank well for the keywords.

1/140 is a bad conversion rate. Scrap the product. Don't even bother with a landing or presell page, unless the commission is REALLY high, like I'm saying at least $40.

2.5 million is a TON of competition. Just look at the gravity of the CB products on that topic - tons of affiliates promoting them.

I like targeting key phrases with less than 50,000 results (without quotes)...

But as I said - testing is key. Go ahead and try it out. Personally, I think that's too much competition, but that doesn't mean you can't find a way to make it work.

Don't be afraid of playing with the big boys. Who cares if there is lots of competition?

I have tried the Squidoo lenses a few times but struggle with what to put on them and making them high quality. Only know the basic and haven't been able to find any information that guides you into the more advanced features.
