"If you were doing the same as me would you use the money you have got from free marketing to build a product and progress from there?"

Just my 2 cents. I would not put a lot of effort or money into an "Internet Marketing" product personally. There are already a TON of them out there. If anything, I would reinvest some of your proceeds into a faster computer (If you need one), Automated tools and PPC in order to be able to ramp up that much more. Beyond that, We all have our personal goals for the income.
Whatever you decide, we're behind you.;)

Hey Pete, I know you've had some personal issues lately, hope all is well or at least better for you.

If you get the chance, I have a couple of questions:

Do you just use blogs for the trends/adsense work...And affiliate marketing products through Clickbank and Plimus are what you've designed actual landing pages for, correct? Just wanted to make sure I was reading this correctly.

Also, I was wondering what sorts of refunds you get on your products? Do you account for refunds in your earnings which you post ever? Also, how do refunds with Plimus work and compare to Click (assuming you get them)?

thanks man, take care of yourself and glad to be a part of this thread.

@Instead Thanks for your thoughts. I will take them onboard.

@rbf738 yes blogs only for the adsense/trends and landing pages for the affiliate marketing correct. On Clickbank not too bad out of so far 87 sales on 1 product I have had 2 refunds on plimus out of 126 sales refund is 5. Looking at clickbank on my main product refund rate is currently at 2.4% I am currently testing another product which is doing not bad. It has been running for about 12 hours and I have had 2 sales on it wo I will continue to test and see how that goes.

    Thanks

    Pete

Your Transparency should be appreciated Pete. I wonder why you are not considering to create your own product and sell it.

Thanks for the template, Pete! You rock, dude!

Just wanted to tell you that because of this thread, I started again to submit articles to ezine (submitted 2 like 2 years ago!) and trying out Articlebase.

Articlebase accepts them quicker, but I have one article at ezine that's been published for under a week with over 500 views and over 200 clicks. Same article has a third of that on articlebase.

Either way, a success! Thanks to you!

Hey my friend - you are doing quite well, and we are all learning from you, but more importantly what I have gotten from you personally is your ability to push forward.

    You are seeing success!!!

I am proud of you, and you share with many of us your energy, which really does make a difference.

There are so many formulas to being successful with this, but everyone experiences it differently - the hard times come when trying to figure it out and duplicate it (each and every time) - which requires hard work - my point is that you show that results can come with NOT giving up, no matter the ups and downs - you are on it my friend!!! - Don't stop!!!!

What is your article count submitted up to now..? When do you think you started seeing the sales start to steady and even out after how many articles?

How many products are you promoting now total and how many articles would you say you have per product?

    Hi Pete,

Been following your posts for a while and I am rather inspired.

I have managed to get a few of my articles to page 1 and 2 of Google in only 2 days which I guess is good for my first time.

I was just wondering about your google trends thing. When you decide on a trend am I right in thinking that you create a blog about it? And do you put your adsense code in these blogs or do you have links in your blog to landing pages on your own sites which have the adsense and affiliate links on?

    Hope you can help.

    Nick.

Your comments on keyword research gave me food for thought. I particularly like where you pointed out the difference in someone who is browsing the net vs someone who is ready to buy.

Also, you made some great points about writing reviews about products I haven't actually used yet. I was feeling a little skeptical about promoting products I hadn't used before, so your info is quite timely.

    Thank you,

    OP,

this is a very impressive goal. For $6000/month with CB you need MASIVE traffic and you literally need to work your a$$ off, article writing, making lenses/blogs/backlinks...EVERY DAY. How are you coming along with this?

True that, I can't work like that. I get bored after writing two articles.

    Hi Guys

Thanks for all the interest. I have started to dable in ppc but nothing major as there have been problems with my quality score. I am still working away with the articles and that but the last few days have been shocking for sales. I have had 1 in the last 2 days. I am furiously writing more articles to see if I can pick things up again. Maybe it is just the start of the month or something but I am hard at it at the moment.

If you have any questions I will endeavour to answer them as best I can

    Thanks

    Pete

Sorry for offtopic Pete but 2 days ago I sent you an email asking for your template and I didn't receive an answer yet. Its fine you can take your time I know you have been very busy recently but I am just worried that the email might have not come through.
    Thanks

I'm interested in that too. I recently read a blog about a guy who was doing like 40 articles per day.. I wonder how is that possible.. :-/ I run out of ideas after about 10 for the same product :)

Also, Pete you mentioned that you're doing backlinks for each article from other directories, etc. Do you experience this: some of the articles even with good amount of backlinks etc. just don't get read too many times? And only a few (out of a hundred for example) are those that receive 1,000s of views and clicks? I experience this and it's quite annoying. On one hand I'm happy for the visitors those few are sending me but I wonder how could I make better the other ones too :(

    Interesting journal.

Any advice for getting lots of eyeballs on your articles? I post articles, but don't see much traffic.
