@thatsgreat not a bad Idea, Thanks I will take a look into that and maybe even have a running total on the site that updates everytime I get a sale so we can all see how far is left to go. I tell you if this gets to $60,000 before end of Dec 2009 what a party that will be and everyone is invited. I am just updating the blog now but will definately see what I can do with that suggestion. Can't believe I didn't think of that myself.

    Thanks

    Pete

I've stumbled across this thread and think it's really great. Your diligence, persistence and commitment is an inspiration! Like others I'm learning a great deal from your journal. Thanks for sharing!

    Sounds like you're an Aussie?
I'm living in the US now and all I can say is...I still call Australia home....

Ehh from a designer/programmer stand point just stuff I think about :). But your topic has given me some inspiration to keep going since my sales have gone from decent to well 0.
I've also been looking at Plimus and have noticed that their products aren't as high quality of products compared to clickbank. Even though no offense to any people that are vendors most of the products on clickbank aren't that high of quality.

@starunicorn Thanks the main aim of this journal was to help everyone not just myself. I am glad to see the journal is achieving what it meant to do.

@thatsgreat2345 You can't think about the bad quality products you just have to choose a product that you are comfortable writing about and the rest will follow. Hopefully my sales stay consistant on both Plimus and Clickbank but I will report any flutuations to you all as they occur.

    Thanks all for reading

    Pete

Yeah I understand, I just haven't had the motivation to keep going until now. I'm curious you said previously in the topic that you worked 3 hours a day? Now that you are much farther a long, and making sales do you find yourself working many more hours a day, say 5-6 hours or the same 3.

Pete, do you ever sleep? lol...now you have a blog about this whole journey...how do you get to do all these and manage to make all these sales in such a short span of time...like how many articles and squidoo and hubpages do you make in one day...Writing a hubpage and 10 articles takes one whole day for me...but then you manage to make 40 blogs in 8 days, consistent sales and on top of that you have a regular job....man, you are a machine! how long have you been in affiliate mktg when you started this journal last march ?

    Pete,

Along with you earnings, would it be possible to include your expenses involved in this project/mission? Thanks.

Good God I go to sleep for a few hours and there is questions left right and centre, both here and on the blog. Let me work through them just now.

@thatsgreat2345 I usually end up working about 5 hours a day as there is a lot more to get done. On the weekends I try to take the time off but end up doing quite a few hours as well. there is just not enough time in the day to get everything done but the best way to get through them is to have a plan of attack for the day ahead. I am going to post a day in the life of an internet marketer post on the blog so that should peak a few peoples interest it will take you through exactly.

@Hidetora I will be writing about the articles very shortly and will also what way I construct my resource box too.

@mpak11 i try to get sleep when I can. I try to get as much crammed into my day as I possibly can. Every minute costs money. I started in Affiliate marketing in January this year, however I have been doing things online since 2003.

@Vigor My day job is in It and telecoms

@starunicorn No problems I will include that in my end of month totals so you can see the whole profit.

Well now i'm going over to my blog to answer all them there.

    Thanks for Reading

    Pete

Yes I'm trying to work 5 hours a day but not consecutively usually 3 hours, break, then another 2 later in the day. However much of the stuff I do can all be automated, IE. posting articles, and such which once I get a routine down I should be able to automate all of that which will allow me to do more.

As I read earlier that you post 1 day on say articlebase, then re-post the same article/semi-same article with different title on say go-articles , or isnare which then links to both ezine, and sometimes your landing page int he resource box yes? Well that can all be easily automated that way you don't have to keep track of every article, and checking if stuff gets accepted and then having to waste time posting. You just set it and forget it.

@MedicAffiliate I wouldn't call it groupies I like to think of it as a support group.

    Pete,

Could you please list the other article directories you submit each article to after it has been approved at Ezine?

If you read the topic even just the first couple page you would know he doesn't use ezine, that he uses articlebase. Then he also lists other article directories he uses.
