Not really i just started in all this so im still learning the best routes to take and how to apply everything, thats why i go so many questions lol. havent done much keyword research im still in a conflict on the best route to go with it

 

ok thanks!the data that google keyword provides is a lot different from the keyword research at wordtracker...

can you share with us whats your landing page, is it a review page, a blog etc...

Fellow aussie here so congrats on your journey and success so far.

Just a quick question about products. With your talent for writing articles and getting front
page rankings etc why wouldn't you look to promote your own product instead of affiliate
programs? All these links you are gaining for your affiliate programs could be going towards
an endless supply of people swooning over your products for years to come.

It just seems you are putting in an incredible amount of effort that could have been spent
promoting your very own product(s).

I have several questions concerning the blogger campaign of yours.

1) How much time does it take on average to get your blogspot (blogger) blogs indexed by google ?

I am only asking this because I had tried this method long time ago and never managed to get google visiting my sites - not at least for the first one week that I was monitoring them. So, I must be missing some critical elements.

2) You say that you bookmark the sites. How does that improve the overall indexing and what do you mean by bookmarking ? Which directories do you use ? What sites do you use for bookmarking ?

3) Do you make one new blogspot for every subject or you have two or three blogspots and use them to use several different posts?

Sorry Guys my internet has been off all weekend this is the first chance I have got to get online since friday. Anyways how about the questions first.

@ silvastar I am seriously thinking on this I think there is a market for a product that I have my thoughts on but I am just researching at the moment the best way to go at the moment. I am just trying to think how to structure this and it could be an idea but we will see how it materialises over the next few weeks. Go on the Aussies!!

@john Mansen 1. Generally it will take about 24 hours to get listed on google and msn. I haven't spent much time on this this month but will need to get into it very shortly.
2. Bookmarking helps because these sites like digg, stumble all get spidered by google constantly and will get your blog spidered quickly the quickest I have had a site on google doing this is 2 hrs. I mainly use onlywire for bookmarking but I also bookmark manually as well.
3. The way I do it is 1 blog for every keyword I target this has seemed to work the best for me so far.

@colenot Have not concentrated on adsense this month but will start back with it in the next day or 2 to get the earnings up for the last days of the month.

@guitardomain Yes my landing pages are getting listed quite highly on google at the moment. These are for targetted keywords but I knew it would take a while to get the rankings consistently.

Just a quick update. One of my squidoo lenses have hit the top spots on google for a good few keywords and I starting to get some great traffic from it. I am just outside the top 100 i think about 106 or 107 but hopefully get that into the top 100 in the next day or 2 and then the traffic should go up even more.

Even although I haven't had internet over the weekend it has been the best weekend yet. Clickbank for saturday was $230 and Sunday so far is $164. Plimus on saturday was $145 and so far for sunday is $82 so things have went pretty well even without any input from me all weekend.

Once I get my adsl sorted out once and for all I will post a link to the blog that I have set up. It will have lots of useful information for you to browse through.

One more question for you all. I am thinking on releasing my own product. This won't be for a while anyway I haven't started on it yet just putting some plans together at the moment. I think this will be the natural progression for this thread. I am basically going to do anything I can to reach my goal of the $60,000 I just want all your thoughts on this. If you were doing the same as me would you use the money you have got from free marketing to build a product and progress from there?

I have taken all your input into this thread in the past and I love the support you guys have given me. I just want to know if you think this is a good Idea. I will still do my journal for the affiliate side of things. I will just update and expand this thread to go into the vendor side of things as well. This will work hand in hand so we will have the affiliate marketing of me selling other peoples products but will also incorporate my product too ( when I start it ) ?

Anyway let me know what your thoughts are before I get going on this as I think it could be beneficial for a lot of people. Anyway let me know what you think. As always your input is very much appreciated as this is as much your journal as it is mine.

I'm promoting an interview ebook (how to succeed kinda deal). From reading your thread my idea is that the best way for me to do well is to

1. Write articles and submit them
2. Create lenses for my articles
3. Backlinks?

Sorry pete, I'm very new at this in fact the only money I've made online is writing articles for other people but am interested in how I can write my own articles and make money. I'm a little confused with some of the terminology is there any direction you can point me in?

@kawn article That is the jist of it write your articles and submit them, then submit to other article directories, write squidoo lenses and hubpages and point them at your articles and then get as many backlinks to them as you can with directories and bookmarks etc. If you hold off a bit there will be a lot of information on my blog. I am just having adsl trouble at the moment.

How I wish I have screen shots like those...I only have 4 sales to date for this month and I work as hard as you do...(I think)...where can you attribute your success the most, do you think you hit the right niche a the right time with all the right styles....

@mg You have gave me an idea. A lot of people are having trouble with this kind of promotion. I might actually do a sort of tutorial. I can start a new account. Start the blogs from scratch and take you through my whole process that way you can see exactly how I do it and how profitable it can be. It is a lot of work that is why I have let is slide at the moment looking for more stable incomes. This can be quite a good money maker but you have to keep at it or the money will dry up.

pete why dont you write an ebook describing how you have come to this point with all the steps you have done, i know most of the info is in this thread but if you go more into detail im sure people would be willing to buy it.
