Pete just a question: "To how many directories are your submitting the same ol' article?

Because in most of the cases there is no way you can rank your articles better than with EZA.
I never seen a solid reason to start submitting articles like crazy to all article directories out there..
Google might penalize your domain as well for doing so..

Just an opinion.. never done it before I only use unique content (Well mostly) ..

@precious007 I submit them to 10 directories sometimes I will change the title and the first paragraph other times I leave them as is. I don't want the other articles to bring in traffic all I am doing is using them as links to promote the main article.

@Instead I have been thinking the same about the PPC now there is a decent amount coming in I could ramp up the whole process with PPC but would have to learn a bit more about it.

I will put this question out to everyone who is following this thread. Please let me know if you would like to hear more about going through the PPC process from here. I can post updates on what I learn over the course and how successful it proves to be and what can be achieved with integrating PPC with article marketing. If this is something the majority of people want to hear about in this thread I won't mind trying to integrate PPC in this Journal.

Let me know what you all think.

    Thanks

    Pete

Hey Pete, By the way, I spent time in Perth and Fremantle a few years back. Very cool places.

Anyway, yes. PPC is the natural progression from generating organic traffic to your products to sort out your winners from your losers, so it would make sense that it be a part of your process in my opinion. Especially if you are using the BUM methods to finance the PPC campaigns. That shows that anyone could do it.

A word of advice. Make sure you set up your PPC accounts on debit cards that you go buy from the department store and not from info that taps directly into your personal checking accounts. Just in case something gets out of wack, keep Google out of having access to your personal finances.

Example: I once had a type O while setting up one of my adwords account settings and spent $50 bucks in about 3 hours time (Unintentionally) before I caught the error. If I had left for the day and not checked it, that loss could have been several hundred.

Good luck and keep us posted.

I would like to see you integrate some PPC into the mix. That would really round this project out.

    Hi Guys

Thanks for the responses I think I will integrate PPC into this project. I will set up an account soon and will start to launch a few campaigns. I will do this when I start the blog. I am just setting things up with the blog just now as I want it to be just right for this project. I think I will give you the option to sign up to the feeds and also I may do some email tutorials for you guys that will outline the steps that I have taken right from the start of this project. That way you will have a sort of blueprint on how I have refined my project and you can follow it the way that I have done. Obviously these email tutorials will take time for me to get together but I think it will be beneficial for everyone. I am trying to do all this while not eating into my writing time and the rest of the stuff. I don't want this journal and our journey to suffer so I am doing it bit by bit usually at night.

So far today is on of the best days I have had since I started this project. Plimus currently has 7 sales and clickbank is at 6 sales Total for today is $351.23 Hopefully if this keeps going the 60k target is definately possible and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks all for reading hopefully have more for you very soon.

    THanks

    Pete

Pete, can I ask you something? How do you find products to promote in Plimus? Because I think that their search option is really bad. If you could elaborate on this I would be glad.

    Hi Pete,

Could you please answer my question about your google adsense method.

    1. Is your 40 blogs create by 1 google account or they are spread by few google accounts ?
    2. You only create blog by blogger, how about wordpress or other free blog service ?
    3. how to promote these blogs ? in addition ping and bookmark what else we must doing ? is visitor (traffic) only from search engine ?
    4. is the google trends same with google hot trends ?
    5. do you also modify your blog’s theme or just optimize on the content (articles) ?

    Thanks,

Does this mean that you use like ezine articles or something as your "base article" and point the links from all the other article dirs to the article on ezine articles for example?

Or you have some kind of a landing page / blog post on your website, blog and you point each and every article there?

    Thanks

@charismaseeker I usually do a search under the different titles and pick a topic I can write about I also research the product that I am going for and make sure it is marketable and there is a need for it.

@byhari it is done on 1 google account. I only create blogger accounts but you could use others like wordpress if you want. I promote via ping and bookmark and then add to a few directories you need this indexed quickly before the trend dies off. goole trends and hot trends are the same. I concentrate on the onpage optimization than anything else.

@sirkhan Yes I use either eza or articlesbase as the main article and then point the links back to that article from the other article directories some of the other article directories get placements on google on the first page as well but the main point of this is for the link juice to the main article not really for the traffic. I also have a link on all articles to the landing page. So the main articles have a link to the landing page and the other articles have a link to the main article and the landing page. I get very little traffic from the other directories but I do get a lot of link love that is why my articles appear on the top page of google because of the links and anchor text used to point back to the main article.

Hope this explains a bit any further questions let me know.

    Thanks

    Pete

Pete, can you pls note how much you have earned since 3rd March. Pls put here total earnings stat from time to time :)
And I'm very curous if you've already read "$150 per day" ebook on bum marketing. As your method is very similar to that.

@PCZ usually I have 10 other links from other article directories and also usually 1 squidoo lenses and 1 hub page.

@content provider Since the 3RD March the Total Earnings to the 15th June is $5,766.93 Only another $54,233.07 to reach the target. Also I haven't heard of the ebook you are talking about I might give it a look and see how close it is. I got ideas from different forums and gurus and put them all together in one package to try and make the best of all options available to me.

    Thanks

Hi Pete , I am a newbie but this is one of the best threads that I've ever seen.I read all of it. It took me a whole night. Nice Work Pete. I think everything is getting better since you started to use plimus. That was a good move. I have some questions pete :

    1) I noticed that when you used EZA at the beginning , you didn't make a lot of sales and was a big waist of time. Should I use EZA or that will be a waist of time ? If not what do you recommend (I mean the techniques that worked for you)?

    2) I have problem with landing pages , what can be the perfect landing page ? What advices can you give me about a successful landing page ?

    3) I also need some tips about article writing.

Thank you in advance and I wish you good luck.

@ aladinhw yes I used EZA in the beginning and it wasn't really working for me. I think most of it was to do with the wait time to publish the articles and the strictness of their policies about accepting articles that got me frustrated. I still use EZA but not as much I mainly use articlesbase as they now publish my articles immediately so there is no wait times for them. I find articlesbase are just as good at ranking than EZA so I find no difference at all.

The landing pages are trial and error. I have spent a lot of my time tweaking and trying different landing pages. One thing you MUST remember no matter what is that on your landing page you must have a call to action. If you don't then no matter what landing page you have you will miss out on a lot of sales.

Article writing can be very hard. You have to be foccussed and push yourself everyday to write articles. Even if at times it is only 1 or 2 a day. Make sure when you select the product you are going to promote that you know about it and can write about it without too much hassle. This will make the writing more enjoyable and you won't find it as difficult to sit down and write about the product.

Hope this helps you if you have any more questions just let me know.

    Thanks

    Pete

Pete, I didn't understand your writing format exactly. Previously, you noted that you write aboiut the product as if you've used it. But how can you write 30 articles in the same style?

Or you write the rest 29 by giving tips to solve the problem and calling to use the product?

Thanks for your frankness and comprehensive answers to every question.
