is it true that you must have a professional looking website in order for cb to allow you to sell? if i am not a web designer this could be a huge investment which hinges on the whims of the reviewer at cb. please help

    Hi Brian,

You can use Clickbank even without a website.

For instance, many people create adwords campaigns that include their affiliate link and link directly to the product page.

Or - the link at the bottom of my signature is an affiliate link (and its only something I use in this forum)

So - the answer is no you don't need a website.

    to become a vendor?
clickbank allow some fairly horrid looking websites.

    as an affiliate...
you can have a website look at as shit as you want

    Hello brianppc,
you don't need another account just to ask clickbank to consider your products..
Simply reconsider all their guidelines and submit product approval request again.

    All the Best

    I have done that,

I don't want to risk hundreds of dollars on web design on the whim on some reviewer.

web design may not be a reason for not approving your product.
Because I have seen many very simple sites on CB.

    What is your product?

Personally I prefer a well designed page that isn't overloaded. An none of those dam up ups or people that speak when you load the page, soo annoying.

    Hi Brian,
    I suggest doing the following:
    1. Re-Read guidelines, to see if your site or product do not follow them. One especially common cause is if you stated a money back guarantee differing by ANYTHING from their imposed 8-week (56 day) guarantee.
    2. If site or product don't follow, fix and re-submit to ClickBank, along with an email explaining that you fixed all problems you found.
    3. If they DO follow, send ClickBank an email, asking why they disapproved your product. In most cases I know of, they answered, and it was a quick fix.
    Good luck!

what sort of product is it? maybe thats the problem.

when i submit a product i just send in a simple sales page and product.. just to make sure it gets approved before i spend hours making the sales page etc.

    brianppc,

I have also had a product disapproved by CB...

They don't seem to care about how the website looks or even the spelling errors. Only if you follow their return policy requirements and a thank you page, you should be all right. They also tend to be harder on money-making products.

I am quite sure they read the ebook. Probably, just to make sure everything is legit.

If you still have problems with CB accepting your ebook, then you could consider using PayDotCom.

Like as mentioned, it may not have been your site design that is the reason of the rejection.

ClickBank is more concerned with your refund statement, your product type and its salesletter. For example, you can't mention make $XXXX (high figure) for make money type products. Maybe if you can elaborate on your product type and/or show your draft salesletter, someone here can critique for you and point out where it goes wrong.

it's not on the website issue it's on your salespage. They are filtering products nowadays. You can get a template somewhere. There are so many sites offering free tmeplate...just search.
