Clickbank is split-testing the order page:

This is what I see, when I click the "buy now button"

Unbelievable. And I don't think they're split testing since I get this on every order form load.

My last 2 sales resulted in immediate refunds (within 20 minutes, on completely different and unrelated products and accounts), exactly consistent with the new order form since it screams "JUST ASK FOR A REFUND! PLEASE! NOW! IT'S EASY! JUST ASK FOR IT! NO QUESTIONS ASKED!".

This has never happened before to me.
How can they possibly think this is a good design?

I don't like it because they're pushing paypal further down the page :( possibly below the fold, I hope this doesn't lead to lost sales from customers who identify with the paypal logo

    That is stupid

The only reason i use click bank is because the few products i find worth promoting are running on clickbank, once they gone im gone too. They better stop screwing so bad every other day.

I don't like the prominent "refund guaranteed" notice either. I guess that's why they are split testing, though. They're not interested in losing sales any more than we are!

    Well
if that is their new buy page i will be sure
to be talking to other vendors to move out of clickbank to a more stable
    network .
i will also move out my vendor product,
i do not like this kind of blunt force marketing on my promotions done by the processor.

    Hank is right :)
The new order page just screams "ASK FOR A REFUND! PLEASE! NOW! IT'S EASY! JUST ASK FOR IT! NO QUESTIONS ASKED!".

I agree that it is over the top and could do with being toned down, but I think letting people know about an awesome refund policy in general is a good thing - it shows confidence in your own product that not many people do ask for a refund, that you are confident they wont either, and it also provides a safety blanket and should increase conversions - pushing people over the edge if they are on the edge, unsure, or even a little worried... Clickbank do have conversion rates and sales at heart and I think they will be trying to do this to improve conversions rather than needlessly hurt vendors (and themselves), and I think the other changes they have made recently such as the vendor branding on the orderform are a step in the right direction.

There is that famous example that Dan Kennedy gives - a cosmetic brand (I can't remember which) added a completely over the top refund guarantee to their adverts - something along the lines of "if your friends don't think youve had a facelift well give you your money back". Apparantly it massively boosted conversions and only led to a tiny increase in refund request... sorry I can't remember the full details of this example :p

Saying this though, I do think the wording is a little over the top and I hope the consider some different ones :)

The number one complaint I've seen here and other places since clickbank instituted it's new analytics is the order form impression to actual conversion. I am sure this is an attempt to increase the conversion rates once a customer hits the order form.

Not sure how I feel about it but I definitely can see both sides on this one. Hopefully any testing will include measurements on both conversions and refunds.

this is more bullshit from CB. They could have said smth like this: Didn't like the product? Not satisfied with the product? Ask for a refund.
It makes more sense like that

I am unable to load an old order page no matter what I do, so apparently there is no "testing" of any kind going on.
They most likely just switched to this new format because they can do what they want.

Doubtful that any sort of measurements were ever done, will be done, or we will ever be shown.

I checked my Order Page today and it doesn't look like that. So I called Clickbank and spoke with a higher rep to see what Clickbank is planning on doing. So apparently even if you're seeing that Order Form with the giant "Satisfaction Guaranteed/60 Day Refund" it is randomly coming up when other people pull the Order Form. The rep told me that it won't come up in every single checkout. They will be testing this out for 2 more days. Now, she said that if Vendors/Affiliates want to comment on this new Order Form that they are taking our Comments so they know what we think of it.
Please email Clickbank and tell them that you do not want this new Order Form! The rep gave me her direct email for us to submit our Feedback on this new Order Form: You can subject the email "New Order Form Feedback".

Wasn't random for me, happened on every pull, on hundreds of order pages from various user agents and ips.

Now it's back to the old one, again, on every pull.
So this probably wasn't a good idea in the first place.

Oh well, if my numbers today were similar to other affiliates, I understand why they went back. Hope they learned a lesson and don't take another few days to figure it out.

I had two straight refunds today.. never really happened to me before. Who knows it is because of this. Anyways. lets see what happens. There is a chance that it will increase conversions, and refunds at the same time. But I hope the net increase is a positive one.

The one I'm seeing does not have the satisfaction guaranteed logo. It has the order form on the right with the product image on the left. Definetely different from the original. I think they are split testing 2-3 different formats.

Not sure why there is any need to change from the original.

Yes, looks like they changed it again to this new format.

I just did a few hundred different product order form loads over the past half hour randomizing everything and all are the new format

If only they were smart enough to not generate an error regarding the zip code when someone pressed the PayPal button. Or, if they must have the info, just put a second textbox input field next to the button itself.

I agree with Parth that I think its 2 or 3 different ones.
